Just peachy... although the peachyness might have something to do with the killing of the pain thing we are doing atm.. lol

Right. I'm aware of that. But you're posting and you're coherent. :D Hang in there.

One foot ahead of the other. Remember? You moved, got your vaping supplies, and you're done with the surgery. Not a small accomplishment. Enjoy your high and don't get used to it. ;) Hugs and kisses and best wishes, Opie. I like Opie. But I also like Boots.

I should have tried that too but the power went off and didn't see your reply until tonight. Figures we get the power back on the 9th. :grr: We'll see how it goes in the near future...

I think all kinds of options will be still open to us for a while. I'm just glad you're safe and got your power back! :)

What about dna vs dna;)A 60 vs a 75C?
I was having a close look at this new Ultroner mod $169.00 Authentic ULTRONER Alieno 60W TC VW APV Box Mod - 1-60W / 1*18650 / stabilized wood + stainless steel / DNA60 chipset at FastTech - Free Shipping
It also comes with the Sevo 70 chip, but DNA's better!!
I'm just not sure about the button position on this thingo_O
Yes I was having a look at that yesterday. It looks a nice little mod although I'm not that keen on the multi coloured Stabwood. If I got one I'd probably go for the blue. I wish they did then in some plain walnut etc etc.

Definitely a good deal for what it is and it looks like it would be a very comfortable vape.....and it's a small form factor too!!

Thanks for sharing Daniel :)

please keep us informed as I ordered this tank and am counting on you to keep me current on its problems
Not to worry Sue. This is a damn well designed and generally problem free tank. The o ring problem is just one of those things that can happen. I've seen many a time on this forum about replacing o rings that comes with a tank and that solved the problem.
I promise you, you'll be glad you bought it ;)

If you end up taking it for only a week or something you won't have any problems at all

I took oxy's daily for 10 years and had zero issues with it.. and hardly any withdrawals though I didn't step down.

I think it's a matter of why are you taking it in all honestly.

Dovpo M VV2. My new shiny is on order now. I know next to nothing about this other than a few reviews on YouTube I just finished watching. Anybody have or used this one? I suppose it will definitely boost my small collection. Figured I better get what I can while the getting is still good. Price was decent enough at 33 dollars.
The OG is great and from what I've read from people who have the v2 it's just as great.

Someone was calling me O.P. (sound Opie.. ) which was cute... @Hightech Redneck 's the only one who calls me boots...

How am I feeling... on a lot of drugs, high as a kite. They doubled my oxy late this afternoon, a necessity on this day, but can't really think due to it... lol.

Other than that? Just peachy... although the peachyness might have something to do with the killing of the pain thing we are doing atm.. lol

Hang tough, you will get your MOJO back in no time.

Thanks Opie....that's an amazing thing to hear. When I googled it I was reading all sorts of horrendous things which I guess has made me anxious.

I'm going to be like you and it's going to be fine. Certainly my doctor said that in sixteen years he'd only had one patient that was truly addicted. Sometimes it's not a good idea to read what is on the internet....thanks again for such a positive story. By the way what dose were you on in those 10 years?

Yes that's why morphine's such a good pain killer....it takes away all the anxiety as well. Hopefully you won't have to take it for very long like I have.

I start my reduction program on Monday....wish me luck Opie and sending you even more hugs
In one of my jaunts in the hospital I was aggravated, nothing seemed right, hungry, thirsty, my blankets were tangled up, I was hot, etc., I called for the nurse. I proceeded to tell her of all my problems in a huff and she put her fingers to her lips as if to say "be quiet" and then said "just say you need more pain medication" I started to say "NO that is not it," but before I could get that sentence out, she was dumping more pain med into my IV and within seconds I realized she was right and none of my other problems seemed to matter anymore.

Yes....it's just as it says. On Monday I reduce my oxycontin from 130mg twice a day to 100mg twice a day and then in fourteen days that goes down to 80mg. I then go back to see the pain specialist and presumably he'll continue the reduction. He's also prescribed me Neurontin and something else for my neuropathic pain. He told me that in the sixteen years of being a pain specialist he's only had one patient who actually had addiction problems. I know it makes a big difference psychologically when you've taken it simply for medical reasons as opposed to being a recreational drug user. I've taken a pretty high dose for over a year so I am a little bit apprehensive whilst at the same time being pretty positive in that I can do this. I do know that you only need a little bit of the med to prevent withdrawal symptoms kicking in and frankly I've been taking the same dose for so long I can't feel much effect from it.

If you end up taking it for only a week or something you won't have any problems at all
I know you can do this, it only takes a good understanding DR that can tell the difference in a drug addict and a person that really was managing their pain. I am so glad you have found one.
You have got this, my friend.

Good morning Charlie. I can add to Op's good news for you.

I have had chronic lower muscle back spasms for going on 20 years now. At times it incapacitated me so bad that I couldn't get out of bed for days. I was prescribed Oxy's along with a muscle relaxer called Flexeril. I took them for over 16 years, and was very worried about addiction. I have an addictive personality, and am a recovering alcoholic that hasn't had a drink for 23 years now. I decided to just stop taking the Oxy's and Flexerils almost 3 years ago because of my fears and hate for the way they made me feel. I had absolutely no withdrawals, for which I was relieved. I thought for sure I was addicted after all those years. I now use something all natural for the pain relief and relaxation when I need it.

You can do this Charlie. You are a strong person, attested to by beating your horrific cancer ordeal. You also have a community of people that love and support you here, and I am guessing at home also. You have been, and always will be in my daily thoughts and prayers, and I will always be a friend you can lean on any time you need to.

100mg per day... 20 of the extended release in the mornings, then 40 extended in the afternoon and at bedtime...
