Please please tell me they’re not poisonous like “everything” else over there. If so, I’m dead when I come visit. I’d definitely pick one up!
No they're harmless (unless you're a mosquito or a fly) and looking forward to meeting you. But if you want seriously cute you need to meet the local Green Tree Frog.

It's literally just a photo of a Kookaburra. Native Aus bird
Yeah but i was curious how many goats we would get.
You gotta admit the line on the back of its head does make it look like a goats mouth looking back.......

It does for sure. I'm programmed to see what it is cause I've seen them like that since I was a kid (no pun intended) but I get the goat thing. The more you look the less certain you get. I wonder what that says about the reliability of eye witnesses

Once again fasttech customer service did right by me.

FT provided me a credit on the bad mtl dl top fill cap, said they've provided feedback to the manufacturer.

1. The female threaded ring that rests on the tank body isn't mechanically attached in any way - no adhesive, no o-ring, not even a tight press fit.

2. The only mechanical attachment of the stainless steel to the plastic tank body is the 3 plastic tabs that encircle the bottom of the chimney. The tabs look a lot like "breakaway tabs" that you'll find in some sets of snap-out-part kits, weak, actually designed to break easily. In my case, following mfr requests to try tightening and loosening multiple times, that's what they did [emoji3]

The SXK version of the mtl dl top fill has now been shipped to me (bought it before the credit), I'll use the credit for my next purchase.

Good! How's your pain? Getting any better?

My pain level is doing fairly well, all things considered.

I am having more right sided sciatic nerve pain now than I had before surgery, but I'm unsure why that is..

I don't know if that's because it just got a little irritated during surgery but wasn't fixed by surgery, or if it was one of the nerves that was fixed during surgery (all pinching removed) and is irritated a bit due to that but will be expected to completely heal with time.

I will say I was having small patches of right leg and foot numbness along the line of this nerve in the hospital, so I'm happy to say there's positive progress anyway (pain only in back/hip, all numbness gone), whether it's more painful now or not where this nerve is concerned...

As far as my back surgical pain, I think its not terrible... :) I am still using my walker, although I've managed a couple times now without it. Plus, I'm definitely resting well...

Im doing really well all things considered.. very happy with the progress I've made. I can get in and out of bed 90% of time without any help and can even do some things for myself like go to the bathroom and get my own coffee.. :)

That's a definite plus in my book!

Opie that's good to hear. I expect your sciatic pain is due to inflammation around the op area and will gradually improve as you recover.....I hope so anyway.

Great news about the other stuff. If there's one thing you need after an op like that is positive signs that it has worked and thinking about the obvious inflammation there must be there I'd say that's really positive and can only get better as time passes.

Great that you can do a lot for yourself and so important to be surrounded by people that love you. Try and have a really healthy diet too. I know that my raw veg smoothies have really helped me and your digestive tract is such a big and important part of your immune system.

Sending hugs to you and take it slowly. Slowly, slowly catchy monkey :)

The same to you, Charlie. I hope you're feeling a bit better. Or even a lot!
Thanks Zaze....a lot actually although still a bit tight chested. I'm defo allergic to this stuff which is a shame as it was going to strengthen my weakened immune system. I'm seriously considering going the natural route with a plant based diet. There are lots of compounds in certain foods which can help.

    Hope you're ok
