Hope you and family are doing well too. How's the shiny new truck?

She's been training horses for 30+ years. I probably should have said breeding horses versus raising trains. ;)
She is well, the truck that is. Havent come up with a name yet lol.
Havent done much to her or even driven her much.
Working alot and i have a work van so.....

Fam is good.

Not to bore everyone but had a rough patch. Everything went wrong at one time. Had to tear out a bathroom for a shower valve leaking we didnt know about. Had to have a semi-major repair done to our hvac syastem. All at the same time the 1st payment was due on the new truck.
Sigh
So all spare funds vanished.
Now im working extra to try to recoup savings so we can cover xmas etc....

But it is gradually getting better and returning to normal. Needless to say no shiny purchases lol.

Just tired. speaking of which, have a good night yall im done.

Got very excited this afternoon. Found a new colony of Net Casting spiders in my garden.
They are incredible animals with eyes 2,000 times as sensitive as the eyes of a human or a jumping spider.

Their big trick is that they weave a web from a special organ and use it to throw at their prey. You know - like the fisherman in the tropics who spins a net over his head and casts it over a school of bait fish? Well that's kind of how they hunt.
These photos don't show their eyes which are extraordinary- like goggles.

I managed to get good and lost on a solo ride last Wednesday for about 6 hours. Carli found our way back. As we were riding down the trail near home I saw 2 riders off in the distance. My friend and her daughter were just starting to search for us. I got seriously b-i-tched at cause I was only gonna be gone for a couple hours. Oh well, we had all sorts of fun exploring. :D

Welcome back, SMT. Good dog Carli! :D

I shouldn’t be so lazy

Although I did make my plans to move to Asia. I invested the cash into my property to rent about 2 months before covid haha
I’m hoping by spring/summer next year I’ll go (fingers crossed for everything I guess)

Omg you’re moving AWAY from this?!?!?

I've got two Colossals, but haven't tried them yet. I've heard that if you put a ribbon down underneath the batteries with the ends hanging out, you can just pull on the ribbon to get the batteries out.

I too have Colossals that I haven't tried! Hope I like them! What and where is best suggestion to purchase batteries? Are certain ones better as far as fit?

Got my Apocalypse yesterday. I don’t know how, but I had the Ardent good and stuck on my mod. Took me half an hour (not counting 20 minutes in the freezer) to get It unstuck.

I do love this mod. The embossed tube rotates, so the fire bar cannot connect. No accidental firing if I want to bring it out.

The atty is nice - I wouldn’t have paid $50 for it, but it’s nice. It’s really stiff now, but I think I’ll really like it once it breaks in a bit.

That's beautiful. If I had that down the road from me I would be there a lot. Swimming and playing frisbee with my dog on the beach.

One of the great lakes, Lake Michigan, is about 10 minutes from my house. This last summer my dog and I were down there 3-4 times a week. The water never gets real warm but a quick dip and swim is ok. Dog loves it.

I hope post covid your move to Asia works out for you. Sounds like an adventure to me. Whereabouts in Asia?

I haven’t been to Lake Michigan in eons... it was chilly, but so beautiful. I’m about 15-20 from Lake Erie. It was clearing up for a while, now with funding cut for the last several years, our beach is closed and it’s looking like a toilet again. So sad.

Quick pop in to say hi.

Radiotherapy is good so far, haven't had many symptoms apart from the tiredness and the difficulty in sleeping.

Following the docs advice i cut down on coffee, haven't had a cup of coffee in almost a week so I'm like on a whole other level of grumpiness, like Billy Butcher level (The Boys tv series reference) which is pretty scary he he.

Big shout out to @Daniel Forsyth ,order has been placed now i'm just looking for a pink caddy so i'm all matchy matchy.

Hope everyone is well :)

P.S.

Yesterday i took my tablet to my radiotherapy session,i showed this clip to my doctor and he couldn't stop laughing,he had never seen it.

I like Li ion wholesale or 18650 shop. I think all the batteries fit tight though.

Do watch some YouTube for menu info. It’s quite easy once you get the hang of it, but it’s easy to miss some features. Asmodus menus are the only ones that feel second-nature to me but I still look up the videos from time to time. I do forget if I haven’t played with them in a while.

Really glad the radiotherapy is going well as having been through a nightmare with my chemotherapy I know well how bad it can be. Because they caught you early you're probably on low doses and long may that continue.

I'm wishing you all the luck in the world and only eighteen more sessions to go....whoopee :)

Good luck mate.

I purchase my batteries from Liion but I hear 18650 Battery warehouse is good too. I haven't tried looking for the best fit, because I go for the best battery. I use the Sony either the pink, the green, or, the brown. I don't know how well these fit in the Colossal though.
