Hiya folks :)

Haven't been able to post much lately, cold front has hit Spain, they calling it ''Filomena''.

Pops rheumatic episodes have come back,he is allergic to Metamizol (Nolotil in Spain) so he has been taking a lot of Paracetamol which to be honest doesn't do much.

So I've been a bit busy since my pops can't really move that much.

Anyway on the vaping front, one of my Hellvape Destiny got busted, well since the beginning the airflow ring felt a bit funky, this time it just gave away and there was no way to remove the base to replace the coil or rewick.

Told this at the store when i got the atty but they said it was normal which i objected to since it was my second one and my other Destiny rta had no problem with the airflow ring.

Anyway, sent it back to the store and ''if'' i get a refund or store credit i was looking into the Blotto RTA.

Not the mini, but the previous version.
Any Blotto users here?

Not a fan of dual coil attys thou,so anyone here running the Blotto with single coil? was thinking maybe a 3mm would work as single.
Although i have seen some people use a 4mm coil in it,never used a 4mm coil on an atty not sure if i would like it or not, guess it's just a matter of trying it out.

Another atty i really liked was the Arbiter 28mm RTA,shame you can't run it with a single coil thou but i sure was loving the looks and it seems it got some pretty good reviews.

Just saw this:

Seems you CAN put a single coil in it,wonder how it perform as a single?
I really dig the Arbiter, that would be first choice.

Apart from that not much to tell, big hug from ''cold'' Spain my fellow vaperinos :)

I don’t have that one, (was going to buy it, forgot, need to go find one lol) but I know I have an atty with a similar deck. I always built it single. Just see how much space that coil takes up in the video? About 1/3 of the area. And get it ‘in the air’. Ought to be pretty good, I think.

Has your father tried curcuminoids.....from curcuma?? It must be the extract though it's great for inflammatory diseases....just a thought :)

Nope,actually never heard of that.

Quick search here in Spain shows that it's mostly sold at herbalist's shop.
If it gets worst i will try to find one of those shops and see if they carry that.
Tomorrow my pops has dialysis so he can ask the doc, since he also has the liver thing i want to make sure it is not contradicted for people in his condition.

But thanks for the heads up,much appreciated.

Yeh,been thinking the same.

Now just waiting on the shop and see what the deal is,should get a refund or store credit at least.
Normally it would be just a new atty, same as the faulty one but they don't carry those anymore so no idea what will happen...they are dragging their feet thou.

Normally all deliveries have been spot on,well packaged,a face mask inside, sometimes an extra 10ml bottle of aroma etc.
But this is the first time i had a complaint due to a faulty item and meh, they a bit slow...

Every dual coil atty I find cheap locally, I look at putting in a single coil. But as most of them would need a 3.5-4mm coil, I didn't bother. Do a search here and/or on reddit to see what others are using - especially in the review sections. It looks like the Blotto RTA can be done with a 3mm single:

An aside update....I ordered the turmeric curcumin liquid gels to try after our last discussion. I’ve taken the powder caps for quite a while, but bit the $$$ bullet to see if there’s a difference. Light years difference for me! I really noticed how much better they work with the sudden cold snap (which usually sets everything off). Expensive? Holy moly yes, but I’ll make room in the budget for the gel caps.

I've been using mine since 28 December. It's a fine SbS. TC is solid if run in TCR mode (TCR setting = 1150 for ss316L).

Love the picture of them together. Paramour looks like it has rounder edges. And no cage. NOT a fan of the cage

Blotto didn't have much flavor for me until I popped in a 4mm coil. Only reason I boxed it is I have others I prefer. All in all a good rta but more successful as a dual coil imo. Hope your dad gets some relief soon.
