Ah, good ol’ Nahhm. I don’t know where Bob Villa is from, but I always thought he had the fakest midwestern accent I ever heard. It’s that generic American accent newscasters try for, for some odd reason lol.
I just checked. He's from Florida. I bet he worked hard on that generic accent.

I wonder what you'll think of the Downeast Maine accent (by which I am surrounded, though it is fading, too). Here's a video that will teach you what the it sounds like, as well as a lot about corns and calluses:

This made me really laugh....I can do that one :D

Don't know what it is with Veronica, my wife. I rewicked her Dvarw with new coil and fresh juice about for days ago and her juice has gone really dark. I have the same in my rotation and it's fine.

She's locked on 18 watts as we have had a few flames in the past when it accidentally went up to 80 degrees C in her bag. By the way she carries it sideways in her bag and has had no leaks ever :rolleyes:

Excuse my ignorance but am I hearing a hint of JFK in this accent?

EDit : yes I love this accent - like a guy chewing on something while he talks. And who knew so much about corns and calluses?

I have a few guesses, but may be wrong on all counts.

1. If your set is one of many, and hers is her one and only, your kit is getting more rest time to cool down and stay cool. Your wife may be using hers frequently and not giving it time to rest so that it stays a bit warmer and she runs more juice through the system during the day.

2. If Veronica's mod is riding around in a purse, it may get bounced around more than your mod. You may have the same amount of brown building up in your kit, but hers is getting mixed and shaken to keep the brown distributed though all of the liquid in the tank. Kind of like a vinegar/oil salad dressing.

3. I may be so far wrong that I'm outta this world. It is aliens. Yep, aliens, taking their invisible hits off your wife's kit and their alien breath is turning the juice brown.

To @Possum64 and others in more tropical places this is no big deal, but here in Sydney we don't see them much. Never when I was a kid.

Adorable! Hey, can you pick it up and put it back a few pages ago, see if it’ll eat that spider that ate the cockroach?

JFK's accent was more snooty Boston, but all the New England accents are related, so it's not surprising you noticed a resemblance.

Mr Gecko would be too late. Even though that nice spider did a great job eating that (American) cockroach, he's currently in a jar in my freezer awaiting a trip to the Arachnologist at Syd Uni for identification. Sacrificed in the name of science.

Just discovered a shop selling a VA Cyclone and '350 Phenom mech for less than $7 a piece. I couldn't not buy them. I've seen a couple of American sites with classic Pinnoy mechs listed but once import duties kick in they become totally unrealistic as a proposition. Still, now we have Brexited from the EU everywhere is no longer a viable option for shopping. This is going to severely curtail my addiction to the shopping cart :D

We’re swarmed with the suckers here. They get on the picture window at night (outside) and drive the poor cat berserk trying to get to them. She’s frantically batting, and they’re nonplussed
