    Morning shinies ;)

I just noticed NZ map in the background

I stuck that one in just for you, so I'm glad you eventually saw it

I forgot to mention, I installed the 1.5mm insert on the MTL Dvarw for the first time yesterday. Before I had never used anything besides the standard 1.2. I am really liking it. I think it suits my vaping style more.

That's how it started for me. A lil bit more air, then a wee bit more and before I knew it - MTL @ 4mm id airflow was perfection

Have you not caught the SbS fever yet? It's highly contagious and making the worldly rounds. PPE does not help. There is no cure. Antibodies will not protect you. There are no known vaccines for the SbS fever.

    Trust me, I knowz! :D
It seems I have a natural immunity, then.

I got my first Dvarw, courtesy @ShowMeTwice and I'm trying to decide how I want to do my first build. All of my other RTAs are dual coil, so I'm kinda starting from scratch. I normally will run two fused clapton 0.3 ohm premade coils, final ohms 0.15, at 75 watts. That might be a bit much for a single coil to handle. How did you all start your builds? I'm leaning away from the premade coils in this case. I have some clapton and some ss, but I need a starting place. I probably will have to lower my wattage too, perhaps? Any advice is welcome.

New jks arrived! No Ange parts are not interchangeable with the og; deck is threaded. Much better dts and black one is great for the Artemis rdta but the clear though has a nice bore is fatter than I prefer. Gunmetal is pretty but not going to build it for now. Will build the other two later.

I've been using these coils on my Dvarw DL since I got it a week or so ago. $3.38 Authentic Ni80 Superfine Heating Wire - 10pcs/pack / 30*2/38 AWG / 0.25mm*2/0.1mm dia. / 0.7ohm at FastTech - Free Shipping

I've been running it between 16-18 watts.

I run a dual core 2.5mm fused clapton (around 0.5 Ohms) in my Dvarw DLs at around 25 to 35 W. A lot of Dvarw users never go above 20W.
It's not an atty designed for low resistance builds and high wattage vaping. The size of the deck screws are a giveaway - really designed for round wire but do handle lighter gauges of claptons etc.
The DL FL has updated deck screws (and offset)for trapping slightly bigger coils but not by much.

My first attempt at building the Dvarw was an adventure. My Clapton wire is too thick so I went with 24g ss at 2.5mm. It was my first hand built coil and I dont think I did too badly. 6 wraps at 2.5mm clocked in at 0.6 ohms, which is a little higher than I was aiming for, but close. I think next time I'm going to go to 3mm, that will give me more room for more wiicking. I didn't forget the chimney, but I didn't put it in correctly, so I got major leaking. I fixed that. I started at 25 watts and now have it at 40. I might go a little higher, but I'm getting good flavor now, just not the hit I'm used to. I have it on an Asmodus Colossal, one of the only single battery mods I own. It even matches it!

    Hiya folks,quick question.

Any of you know where i can get a silicone case for a Vaporesso SWAG PX 80?
Getting one in a couple of days thanks to a Spanish website that wants me to do a review and i wanted to get a silicone case for when i take it out.

Had one long ago when i had one of the first SWAGS that came out but haven't been able to find any for this model.

    cheers

I think the windy one aka @the wind uses 24g in his. Looks perfect on a Colossal

PS: You get bonus points for the chimney cap - and trust me, it leaks a shed load more with no cap on at all

The measurements on it are identical to your original Swag (except the pod tank height) if FT have got them right:

    Swag 80w
    Dimensions:
    DEPTH 25 mm
    HEIGHT 75 mm
    WIDTH 48 mm

    Swag PX80
    Dimensions:
    DEPTH 25.1 mm
    HEIGHT 99.7 mm
    WIDTH 47.9 mm

I couldn't find any skins for the newer PX80 either. Until they start appearing, you could use the one off your Swag 80w. The fire button looks like it's in the same place, but the screen of course won't be.

The Swag PX80 comes with a little tank which is included in 99.7mm Height. So without the tank just the the two mods would be pretty much the same size all around:thumb:
