Well in all fairness, they aren't making hard drugs legal. They probably just know that some addicts are going to do them no matter what. So they are promoting ways to lead to less infections and disease. I don't have a problem with that.
I do not either and I am betting it saves lives. Important! Addiction is a disease and we must help.

It's called harm reduction. Facing reality and helping people instead of pretending the world is perfect and punishing people for their addictions.
I'm all for it.
exactly. Let's help instead of prosecute.

Ok straw poll time:

For those of you who build your own setups (wind from spools or buy pre-wound coils but not drop -ins) roughly how long does each coil last you?

Do they last days/weeks/months ?

I stretch my dual core claptons out to at maybe a month or so.
When I wind a new coil and get that fresh blast I sometimes think I should change them more often.

any thoughts??
I buy premade coils for my RTA's. I love a new coil. BUT, I am guilty of using one too long because I hate changing them out. I do dry burn but it is not the same as a new one. Mine go far longer than a month. Sometimes 4-5 months. Never are they my daily driver though.

Well said. I see here in NZ they're setting up testing stations at festivals to analyse the people's drugs. With soooo many harmful junk around, it can only be a good thing.

Calling all Paramour users! @Nailz , @charlie1465 , @ShowMeTwice @NolaMel

Is there a way to flip the screen? (not in the manual) The way mine came, the up button is down and the down is up. I know I'm in the southern hemisphere but c'mon!

First impression about the 510 is that the actual 510 pin (not the whole assembly) is very springy and even wobbles side to side with easy pressure. It's reading a 0.58 Ohm build at 0.62 Ohms which isn't disastrous but is a bit annoying.

I love the small size with a 21700. Pretty light weight. Threads on the battery cap are a bit crunchy but not terrible - think Pico 75W.
First impression is that it's firing a bit hot but that could be because of the resistance reading.

The placement of the up and down buttons is right in the way of my ring finger. Will need to lock those for sure with the way I hold it.

Not in the same league as the Mixx imo. Not even close.

Only had it for an hour so these are very much first impressions.
Hi Pigs....no there's no way to flip the screen but I have no problems with the button arrangement. When it's down on the table left is down right is up as you would expect....just like the Mixx....you have to tilt the mod to see the screen the right way up....far easier than the Mixx where you have to go under the mod.....

Poor Paramour everybody's doing it down....I love mine. Haven't had a single issue

This is all part of an ongoing lesson for me.
You spend more money on a better quality mod like a Dani or an authentic BB and you never regret it.
Affording it is not always easy and often impossible but forking out lots of 50 to 100 dollar amounts for mods that don't last is getting very old.
That's not true...there are many issues that arise with even 500€ mods.... they're all over the specific Facebook groups....the difference is sometimes you have a lifetime guarantee.

I have two more Paramour's coming....if something happens I'll let you all know and by the way the Mixx has a glued in 510....I think it was you that posted the video

Sorry to disagree again but mathematically speaking that doesn't prove causation only correlation....you need a much bigger sample size to say what your saying....

True. OTOH, it's a well known fact that 79.48% of all statistics are made up on the spot. ;)

Mines the opposite. The screen bottom to top is on the right hand side of the mod IE when you lie it down to the right...

Everyone's dissing my Paramour I'm going to cry o_O:rolleyes:

Couldn't agree more...and most of the damage is caused by illegality...I'm for legalization

I'm a sorry coil builder--round Kanthal, single coils ~1Ω. 2.5 ID. low wattage. I rewick often and recoil when I feel that the coil is losing its oomph--maybe after 3 or 4 quick, gentle dry burns. I like a fresh coil. I can't tell you how many mls I can vaporize on one coil--never really paid much attention, but with my MTL style and mostly unflavored or lightly flavored eliquids, my coils last a long time.

They must have decided Northern Hemisphere water goes down the plug hole clockwise and Southern Hemisphere water goes down the plug hole anticlockwise.
I wonder what display people on the Equator got.

Anyway this is how mine is. In technicolour. Reversed.

This is one of the most ridiculous conversations we've had on this thread. What a bunch on nincompoops.
If you line up all the stuff we've been typing.... so funny. Like a bunch of drunks arguing about which side of the road to walk on. I blame you Charlie. You started it...only joking it's really all SMT's fault he he he hehe (I love my Paramour ):w00t: I'm pure as the driven snow.

By the way :

The great plughole debate
