I enjoyed handling my friends tarantula BUT eating a spider, nope, ain't happening. When I was a young kid I used to eat some bugs and worms off of the dares of my friends. Won some cash off of the dares too.

Home-grown pest control  Hey a growing body needs a lot of protein :lol:

I didn’t yet. I have a pretty good collection already. I’ve noticed also that the coils last a long time. The .15 are good coils also but the ccell seems to last the longest for me.

Have you or has anyone else compared the GT ccell coils to the earlier EUC ceramic or original c-cell coils for either longevity or intensity of flavor? I haven't yet tried the GT's but have been collecting the earlier ones as they excel in both of these areas.

Hey Everyone. Was sitting sipping my tobacco on my Achilles dripper (it works beautifully on tobacco), when it dawned on me...I need a new mod for it. Currently alternating between the JAC DNA 75 (but it's to tall), and the old baby Vaporesso Target mini ( I love it, but it's to short...and not very ergonomic).

I need something in between. Something quality and ergonomic, that fits well in the hand... preferably with a good TC.
Being out of touch lately, it also dawned on me....I know the best in the business...always on top of their game.. ;)
So yeah...here I am...Suggestions would be very much appreciated plz :)

Hi Fred, hope you and the family are doing well.

Size wise, the Dovpo College DNA 60 sits perfectly in between the JAC and Target mini. It's a side-by-side mod. I have a couple. They are excellent. Quality is top notch. Your Achilles with the DT is about half the height of the JAC (I have a few JAC's). Using that for scale, your Achilles would work very nicely on a College. For TC it would be very tough to beat a DNA mod.

    Better and better..... awesome

I'm on holiday next week, and want to capture more than kale and silos. So I've been having a mad rush training few weeks. I'm now happy with my exposure and white balance is getting there. And I've got familiar enough with the controls, to change things on the fly.

But my main problem is getting the camera to focus where I want it to, and not where it thinks it should. Last week I only used manual focus, which seems to work most of the time. But it can get knocked off when I change another setting. I've been using auto-focus this week. It won't focus in if I'm just aiming at a mountain or clouds, but if I focus a bit lower then it locks in. I'll play around with the different AF settings, but I think manual focus may be the best bet. As today's effort shows, it's still not focused in on the hills at the back.

These ones fit the bill, but they are wattage only: Aspire Paradox mod, Innokin Kroma-R mod and the Aspire Mixx.

TC mods: Vaporesso Swag II/2, Luxe Nano (internal), Eleaf Pico 2

I’ve never tried the Euc coils.

Gday Fred. Hope you're well mate!

I agree with SMT and Ange but not owning a Dovpo College (yet!) I can't comment based on personal experience.
My Mixx has been a fav mod since I bought it. Charlie, Ange, SMT and others own multiples.
If you don't want a DNA mod the Aspire Mixx would be perfect. Great hand feel, well made (cnc'd aluminium and SS) and cool looking.

Here's an NZ site that has them in stock.

Haha. Just the ones in the health food ads with tough unappealing leaves in studio lighting. ;)
Put it in a smoothie. I have it every morning...can't notice it then.....and so good for you!! Mind you a pot of boiling water next to a field of kale would fill me with horror :D

Can't beat the EUC ceramic coils as long as you break them in slowly....they last and last.

You need to focus to infinity then the foreground will be just as sharp as the background. Obviously light is super important. If there's no light on the mountains or they are backlit as in a lot of your photos then they are going to be dark. Have you got spot focus eg. Can you move the focal point around in camera??

The best thing I can suggest is to get over to the hills and find one that's lit up by the sunrise, make sure you've got a foreground interest (like the kale) and try that. In photography location is really important.
    Hope that helps
