I have noticed a lot of pictures of the Aspire SBS mod on this thread and am wondering why it's so well liked? I have no experience with SBS mods besides the Digiflavor I just got.
The Mixx is built very well...it's 'high end' but made in bulk so it's not high end in the sense that it's a one off. It's 0-60 chip and screen is almost as good as a DNA 60 and well it's machining is excellent. I agree with all the rest that has been said too :)

It just all goes in waves Hitt. It will be something else in a month or two. Last season it was Dwarvs. Everybody needed one, got 3, compared theirs to each others. Talked about parts and inserts. About a year ago it was stabwood mods. After that it was Billet Boxes and the insides. We shall see what comes next.

As much hardware as I have bought and have tested doing reviews, I never tried a dwarv or a billet box. I've got a bunch of new stuff coming soon for reviews. I've never had anyone ask me to review either of those.

    I only have 5

For me: it's being able to have a tall RTA, and still having a low profile setup. And I find a SBS similar in profile to a squonk mod setup, which I'm also hooked on.

As for the Mixx itself: Solid and quality materials, chip fires fast and it looks good.

Downsides to SBS mods: Airflow can be blocked by your finger or the battery tube, you can only fit certain size attys on them and they tend to multiply

I agree with Ange and I also think a lot of sbs enthusiasts like vaping in a wattage range that suits single 18650 mods.

As you can see Hitt, no one answers that question with the obvious (because we are all obsessive-compulsive buyers and all want what another has) they instead give you a very real answer (to them) about its superiority. But watch closely and you will see the pattern ;) Love y'all!

Thats because everyone here was reviewing them daily in this thread...

I'll have to keep my guard up. I'm easily influenced when it comes to trying new vaping gear.

You just have to know your limits and stick with them...

I know for a fact that I have well over 100 mods and refused to count the tanks. I just know there are a lot I've accumulated. However, trying new stuff is definitely always fun. I'm going to keep using the digiflavor Z1 and the one coming for review before I decide if I want to look into other SBS mods. The new siren 3 tank isn't bad but initially the flavor production doesn't seem really great. I need to see what other tanks I have that will fit on it. I've tried three different coils on the siren 3 so far and am currently running one of the included 1.0 ohm coils which I usually never run that high of a coil.

Well the Billet box by BBV and the Dvarw by KHL mods need no introduction.... they're iconic. Everybody loves them....period. I kicked myself for not buying a BB sooner because it really is a fantastic vape and has so many options/bridges. The original pod mod :thumb: And the Dvarw's are so simple. .easy to build, perfect airflow. Original for slightly RDL and DL FL for wide open....can't go wrong unless you're a low ohm/high wattage vaper :wub:

    As Oscar Wilde said :
"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”

Surely there's no vape device out there with more imitations than the Billet Box. Lots of tweaks, variations and clones but none beats the BB.

The more air is what I'm after, and the flavour. I went for the Kroma-Z over the Sensis due to it using the Z-coils
The sensis was a real bust in my opinion. The flavor (same coil) is miles better in the sceptre. Everything tastes like wet fresh cotton on the sensis

I agree with Bob. The coils were too small for that kind of device. Had they figured out how to use the Z coils with it then it would have been better. I wasn't too crazy about the 510 adapter either since it was just held in with magnets.

That's weird about the Siren 3 not being good on flavor... I thought the 2 was pretty good on flavor for an RTA... have a couple of those in my stockpile for DH...

Maybe it's the increased airflow capabilities that dampens flavor for it then...

Sad. I was kind of hoping that would be a good one.

It's not bad, just not great. I'm using an orange tart recipe that I run in a thelema pod and it's great in the pod but flavor is light in the siren 3. I was actually hoping it would have a little more airflow. I didn't like the siren 2 at all and got rid of both of the ones I bought.

And...just trying to be the good enabler I’m aspiring to be - the Mixx is $47.58 at Health Cabin and they have a coupon code LABOR15 for 15% off your cart. That’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen the Mixx. Their shipping is pretty high though so if that’s all your getting, the coupon is negated. If you’re ordering a few things, then it’s worth it. :2cool:
