I've taken apart a Luna for a looksee too. Every time I get a new mod I like to dismantle and have a look at the innards.
The hardest one ever was a Therion - beat me. Even Daniel DJLsb gave up on that

I was kidding about the link. I didn't figure it was an Amazon or Walmart purchase.

This works nice for holding mods too.

Target carries them in the kitchen junk aisle. I think it was $4 or $5. It's a hard plastic. It has a rubber protective liner on the inside bottom. You can see it on the top pic.

How dare you mention the nuts. Mine are very well retained....at least the last time I checked.

Seriously though it may or not have one but if you've got two screws either side of the five ten unscrew them and CAREFULLY lift up the 510 and see what's going on underneath

@those who know the retailers here_ i've noticed nkon.nl isn't on mooch's list. not sure if it was ever there and removed or just not included in his survey. @mimöschen i think turned me onto them and they're been my supplier of batteries since_ they still goodtogo or has there been changes to the rep?

Only problem I find with them is the batteries I need are always out of stock....I used to use fogstar but they aren't shipping to France anymore

I found another UK vendor that is though They're on the way!!

Yup ...it was posted on a FB forum. I've had a close look at one of my many Luna's and it needs some care in a few thin places on the wooden shell but entirely possible
