So, both of the Aspire Feedlink Revvos showed up today. Both mods in working order. I'm a bit perturbed about the tank though. In the videos I watched, there's a simple button that you press the juice bottle nozzle down onto that opens what I would assume is a valve to fill the tank. In both of the boxes, the button wouldn't compress at all, therefore I had to take the nut and coil out to manually fill the tank. I actually broke that button off trying to gently push/pull/twist it in hopes of breaking it loose or disengaging a locking mechanism which the videos did not show. It's a very small/skinny knob. Not a huge issue, the tank still works perfectly fine, I just can't fill the tank using the button, which I wasn't able to do anyway. Also definitely the messiest kit I've had to deal thus far. Filling the tank w/out it being securely on the mod dripped juice all over me. Probably something I should have thought through before hand, but I know now moving forward.

Has anyone else had issues with the getting the button to compress down to fill the tank?

Yup you can get mesh spools. I kind of agree that some non rebuildable coils are good but for me I prefer to know I don't have to keep buying coils to keep things going.

Within 3 months of switching to vaping, I went 100% into rebuildables - with the exception of a pod device here and there.

I'm enjoying the novelty of using z-coils again after so long. But I love the draw, flavour and gutsiness rebuildables bring, a lot more

I just did a quick Google for mesh mtl rba and found Damn Vape Intense RDA for starters. I'll be looking into this mesh business further. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

Just remember, if it's an RDA, there isn't a tank for juice, so that would be considered a dripper. You need to carry around a bottle to drip on the coils every 5-6 puffs. If you're looking for an alternative, check for Mesh MTL RDTA/RTAs or maybe an RDL depending on restricted you like your draw. Also, you can go the Squonk route, but tanks for Squonk mods require the ability to use a BF (Bottom Feeding) pin in the thread post of tank that makes contact with the 510 connector when the tank is screwed on (the BF pin is hollowed out). I'm really starting to love Squonks.

In regards to the Damn Vape Intense RDA you mentioned, I just looked it up. It doesn't look like it can use a BF pin which means it'll be a straight dripper. Also something to be aware of - the juice well in that tank is only 2mm deep. That's how much excess juice you're allowed to sit in the RDA when you fill it up. If you accidentally overfill it, it's going to overflow the well and likely leak onto the mod/you/your GF/your entire existence. That .... spreads like melted chocolate, lol.

I started with one of the coil winder kits that had a different rod for each size and they were different colors. I quickly grew tired of messing with them and now just use a single coiler rod that has different sizes all on one. To me it's much less hassle.

Yeah, I'll have to look for that when I make the jump to doing my own coiling and buy a kit. The Vandy Vape kit I have has a few rods in it, but I think it's only 2.5mm and 3mm (those I think are like the standard?) I've seen people use the multi-sized coiler as their coil adjuster in several videos though. They look handy.

I'm a dripper from way back and have only been using a tank for few years. But yeah, I've ruined a few mods by getting overzealous with the drips, lol. I have only the one squonk mod (Reo Grand)with a couple of bf atties I got specifically for it.

I use these for general help with building. Handy in lots of ways including checking what diameter your month-old coil build was when replacing it with a new coil. And just generally poking around with wicks etc.

For wrapping coils I use the coilmaster jig sets with separate diameter jigs that slot into a screw in handle.

Keep in mind the larger the build the less air is wrapping around the coil. If you go too big there will be flavor loss and the coil itself won't cool as efficiently. If you like a warmer vape then larger coils are a good thing but would stick with an rda/rta that has big af.
