I'll wait until I try the rba but if I like it then I'll probably grab a couple spares to have on hand. Might be nice to just switch them out when one needs rebuilding. Of course with my procrastinating skills the one that needs rebuilding might sit there on my bench until the second one needs rebuilding then I'll need a third.
I'm exactly the same.... chief procrastination specialist :D

The Bushido went through. Unfortunately the Requiem backup bottles are having issues being manufactured and the restocking date is indefinite, so I opted out of it - Support at FT contacted me last night about it.

You may want to find out if the requiem squonk bottles are compatible with another kind or brand.

For instance, the Luna bottles are perfectly exchangeable for the Boxer bottles.

So if you look you may find out the requiem bottles are exchangeable with a different brand bottle. The bottles are 6ml, but depending on the amount of space for bottle, a 7ml may fit. You wouldn't know without the mod and bottles in hand though, but surely a squonker some where has figured out what the compatibility might be.

Hi All - it has been quite a while since I have checked in here. Real-life has been difficult and so very busy. I thought I would check in here to see if anyone knows of someone who makes customs drip tips. There were two I have used on FB but one has disappeared and the other isn't making them now. I need a few new ones and am super particular about shape and color. Thanks so much! I do all of you are well.

Can you post a pic/description of what you are looking for? Perhaps one of us have similar ones.

Ok here's what I think so far of GT4 v Dvarw DL. Remembering I've only had the GT4 for days and been vaping Dvarw DLs daily for over a year.

One of the things I love about the Dvarw is how bullet proof and simple it is. No moving parts - no juice flow controls, AFC rings etc. It's just a dead simple atty with great flavour and smooth air. Once you know how to build it to suit your vape you get it right every time. Never leaks, floods, dry hits.

The GT4 is a completely different story. It's complicated in a way and has two completely different AF channels hitting the coil. You can choose one, the other or a combination. It also has juice flow which works really well but is an added complication with more moving parts /O rings etc to fail.

The flavour is great on both but it takes dedication and a bit of persistence to get it right on the GT4. I'm not there yet but getting close.

If I had to choose one I'd go the Dvarw but the GT4 is a classic and also a great single coil RTA.
I was a big Taifun devoutee for years and that is what I learned to build on. I went as far as GT3 and then jumped shipped to the Aromamizer.

@PJReid did you try FT? I don't know of anyone doing customs any more and so few places are shipping now.

These are SO specific that they almost have to be custom-made. All of ones I posted photos of were made by John Elmore on FB and he isn't making them now. I actually bought blanks to get the exact colors I wanted and sent them to him. He still has enough for more DTs so I hope he starts making them again before too long. He is the best! I ordered a few from FT so I will see how I like them. Thank you for the suggestion.

    Somewhere between here and there

I tend to go with 316 coils as much as possible.

I got some that look the same shape and are swirled colors from FT before but they had a pretty wide base on them. I'll see if I can look through past orders and find them.

    Would something like this work?

32*2/38 for under 15 watts. And put a Dvarw on your Mixx!

Ok so two votes for the SS316. They are my go to coils when it comes to prebuilts already. I didn't know if the kanthal might provide a bit of a cooler vape in some attys. On the Galaxies RDTA I notice the vape is a bit warmer than I am used to in my Dvarws.

I didn't even realize that vandy vape sold those coils. I've been buying the superfine clapton and winding my own.

TBF, I was kind of looking for a reason to get the Bushido anyway. When FT said it was out of stock, I was like okay... Requiem it is. I'm not sure how they got some back in stock - maybe cancelled orders? Regardless, the order went through and I went with it. I have the Dovpo Topside and really like its quality - from the reviews, the Bushido doesn't fall short of that. The Requiem cancellation was really just topping on the cake, although it was refunded in the form of a gift cert, so I'll be spending that anyway, lol.
