Ange should have some great Blood Moon / full lunar eclipse photos for us in about 7 hours hopefully. We just watched it here in a cloudless sky but the big city lights dimmed the beauty a bit. Her South Island views and photographic skills should do it justice.
Still it was awesome; crisp cold, clear windy night.

yup, first abroad since corona was a rumor_ but man those masks really do tire the lungs when worn at length. took my dandy new luna along and strutted along platforms and showed it off to uncomprehending smokers:rickroll:

best was to be away from a screen for a bit_ excepting the inlaws' german folksiecomedystandup

visited the quitter traitor friend and have my zbiip back along with a bunch of zcoils_ kinda glad as it's a practical little thing that might not find anymore

now back to shine_ first with a whole lot of batteries, i've yet to place the order

That's exactly right. One and a half turns is about the best amount of juice flow for me.
So you screw the tank down finger tight to the base, then open it up one and a half turns using the engraved logo as your guide. Some like it one full turn, others 3/4 etc. You'll find what works for you.
There she be! One full turn and a new rewick since I've toasted all of them before this, lol.

Also another thing I just discovered about the 5 Squared. So the AF ring is like a seated nut. The tank fits down into it. Until now, I haven't been able to lift the AF ring high enough to rotate it in any direction. So I unscrewed the tank a bit to make some room and all of a sudden I saw bubbles coming out of the chamber - something I hadn't seen yet and was wondering if it's just been happening on the opposite side of the tank or what. The juice flow I think is controlled by how much the tank is screwed down. I've been locking that sucker up tight to make sure there's no leaking and have been dry hitting like a .... all day thinking my wicking is fubar'd, but I'm pretty sure now it's because the juice flow has been pretty much cut off. *sigh*

I'll figure this .... out sooner or later.

26 feet of Japanese cotton incoming! How long do you think it'll take to vape all that? It's in 6mm strands.
That should last you quite a while. I got the "13 Feets" of cotton from Amazon and I think it should last for several months at least.

Specially not the 5 Squared SE.

The little Kayfun Lite Plus 2021 is a breeze though. No juice flow or AFC ring, just set your Aerokon airflow pin how you like it and that's it. Thanks to @ShowMeTwice for the advice. (where are you mate?)

Do you cut yours the long way for normal 2.5's and 3's?
I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. I generally just cut a few inches from the cotton and then pull it in half with my hands. I might have to take off a little more with my 2.5 coils, but it seems to work fine.

Full discloser: I am a horrible wicker, so take any advice you receive from me with a grain of salt.

Yeah, that's what I meant. cutting it half length-wise, where you're just splitting it with your hands. Good to know.

So, what do I do with the salt then? Especially such a small a mount?

Super tight compared to my normal RDL. Think it's a 1.8mm draw fully open. Loose MTL I spose but I like it for a change.
Not for me then....I thought you'd say that.... Kayfun have always been aimed at the MTL market :)
