Yes....I've got the SXK one coming so it'll be nice to make a comparison with the OG....let me know how it goes when you get your Ulton :)
Mmm, I just got word from FT. They don't know when they'll have stock of the Ulton Edge. Apparently the factory "can't work as normal"...whatever that means. I'll have to cancel and get the SXK from 3F.
The only reason I took the Ulton is because that includes more air pins.

I like the ceramic - they seem to last forever- but honestly I favor the Nords. They seem to get more air - and I will add I’ve only tried the Nords in the BB, I think it would be too restricted for me with the other coils. Just my opinion though. If you lean more towards mtl it might be just the ticket for you.
Thank you. The nord coils do fine for what I use them 1.4 and 0.8 Mtl. I just worry about leaking. Haven’t had any to leak yet tho. I’m gonna get a pack of the rdl 0.6 and try. Are those pretty airy? As that’s what I’m looking for.

I know... and it still may be a few weeks away according to Mark Todd. Wonder what the holdup is? At least if there was some type of manufacture issue it seems like they're not rushing out a 2nd class device. Fingers crossed.
Yep....slow is good imo....it's kind of normal especially in these times with all the supply chain management problems.

Looks like there's a 5.5ml XL kit. The height is still only 40mm sans DT

@charlie1465 These are nearly straight from the camera. I did some straightening, played with highlights/shadows and dropped the saturation.

I usually struggle when the light is this intense and end up with blown highlights. I used Av mode, ISO100, f/8.0 (smallest for lens) and exposure bracketed. I kept dropping down until I wasn't getting the highlight blinkies. Is that the right way to go about it?
Yes that's a good use of your camera knowledge....the main thing is that your output looks real world as it was when you saw it imo....sometimes the highlights and lens flare can be used to your advantage....not necessarily a bad thing. A camera hood helps but depends on the angle of the light to camera.

But I'm guessing you can't put a hood on your lens??

Awesome colours and reflections in the water

On the subject of coils. I primarily use rba’s but at times like the ease of prebuilt. I have a couple nord adapters and use them some. I’ve been thinking of getting the mission euc adapter and some vaporesso ceramic coils. My question are those coils as good as advertised? A lot of billet users swear by them. I’ve never used one and would like a few opinions before I drop a hundred on getting the entire setup.
The Euc ceramics are awesome for longevity but they need a long break-in. Start really low watt then gradually increase it...the longer the better. I use the 0.5's....once they are broken in they run and run but if you go in at full bore the flavour suffers and once the damage is done there's no going back :)

That's a bummer...almost certainly a supply chain problem. SXK is usually a good bet though. The OG comes with a 1.2mm and 3mm insert FYI.

Good looking rig buddy :thumb::thumb:

Personally this is the one i dream of having one of these days:

1e440e25d582ec48b2898b3d07e5b7bb.jpg

Flying solo so this is the best choice for me.
Off road capability so you can basically go anywhere you want ;)
If i ever win the lotto i am hiring a 24 around the clock nurse for my pops then heading to Germany, there is a company there that makes camper vans like this.
They pick it up directly from the Mercedes dealership and do it custom according to your specs, wants and needs.
Since they work closely with Mercedes and they don't touch the engine the van is still under the official warranty from Mercedes.

Atomizer wise, any got or is thinking of getting this:

♎ Arbiter Solo RTA by Oxva | SINHUMO SEVILLA ♎

Weirdly attracted to this atomizer, thinking that the RDL mode will be similar to the Juggy MR which gave me so many problems.

I have the non-Solo 28mm version and when I shut the top AFC, I can't imagine you'd want a tighter pull than this. If I sucked any harder, the color from the drip tip would come off in my mouth. The only issues I've had with it so far is that sometimes after refilling, the deck gets a little oversaturated with the AFC shut off and all - but I think that likely has more to do with my wicking than anything. I like to keep 'er loose so the juice really flows.

I was just complaining yesterday I think it was about my abyss sitting at melrose park then I get home today and it’s in the mailbox with the ether, sbs kit, and spare bridge for gtx/pnp. I also got two galaxies mtl rtas in another package. Now if they would just ship the Boxx.
I told you, lol. That's happened to me a few times now with stuff sitting at Melrose Park. Whoever is doing USPS's status updates for shipping is definitely sleeping on the job.

I'm loving the flavour of the Geekvape b series boost coils. Tossing up between another Aegis Plus and a Vaporesso Swag px80 or Target PM80/PM80se/.

How does flavour compare between Geekvape boost coils and Vaporesso GTX/Voopoo PnP?
I have the FORZ 25 tank that came with the FORZ kit, but it uses GTR coils. If the GTX is anything like the GTRs, expect more of a throat hit. Decent clouds, pretty average taste - remember thinking there's a plasticy taste on the exhale or something funky. I actually sidelined the 25 tank after a few weeks because it didn't particularly impress me, but maybe they fixed that in the GTX.

I have nothing but praise for the Aegis P-Series Boost coils. The only coil I've had to use so far in the Boost Pro has over 1000 puffs on it, and it's still going strong. I did replace the pod for the RDTA converter a while back ago, but the Boost Pro is all I had when I first started buying stuff, so that's pretty much all I vaped. it's definitely been put through the ringer. I was curious about the B-Series coils, so I did some looking around. The reviews seem to be similar to the P-Series - you can expect really good flavor and super long life expectancy from each coil. I did however run into this as an outlier, but you seem to be a pretty capable DIY person, so I don't think this would be an issue for you:

I agree. I’d rather wait than get something that doesn’t work well.

I might need some help or watch a video on the Abyss. I want to try the ether so need to figure out what coil I want to build.
If it helps @hittman this is the build that has been working for me in the Ether at around 28W.
It's a 3mm ID, 2*28/36 Ni80 fused clapton. About 0.5 Ohms. I run it with the widest open af insert.
I wick with plenty of cotton.
