I haven’t built mine yet. I put a nautilus coil in so I could try the abyss at least. What other tanks would you compare the ethers af to? Also, rayon or cotton wicking?

Ah mate I used to suffer almost permanently from heartburn and reflux in my wild eating days. When changed my eating habits to more healthy foods, it disappeared. Now when I do have a wild weekend of eating junkish foods and it hits me, I just take some apple cider vinegar and water.
Lately I shy away from doctors...they're trained to treat symptoms, not to find a cause. I only take a medicine if I really really have to.
Anyway, enough about me...this might help

I’m not sure which to compare it to. Most tanks I use have more airflow available wide open and I close them down quite a bit. I’m getting a decent restricted direct lung with the tank wide open. I only use cotton. I tried rayon but didn’t like it.
Has your Abyss got the holes slidey airflow or a slot? If it's the holes, then @Robfisher's fix below might help:
Thanks! Mine has the holes. So if you remove the ring then can you still adjust airflow.

I wanted to make a mint chocolate VBIC for drop-in coils. After trying it in an Axial, it went into a Kroma-z. I love it so much it's now in a Juggerknot Mini and full time in an Axial/Pumper combo.

Rayon for me. Better overall than euc coils IMO. My abyss chip failed after a
Week but after many texts I’ve been told a replacement will be sent. I posted pics of a screwdriver destroying the screen so fingers crossed. May just use it in sbs mode going forward. I think a seigfreid gets the call.
