thanks for this Fred. I do make Daphne's food. But it is not a raw diet. Turkey, spinach, brown and wild rice, peas and green beans. I did this to help with her allergies and she seems much healthier. I will have to research how to do a raw diet for Joe. One of his fav things, and something he is getting much more of these days, is raw mackerel.
I fed my cats raw for a while. The recipe I followed was pretty similar to the one here.

Yeah plz do some research Sue. I'm very confident it will make a big difference for Joe. It sounds complicated at first, but is actually very simple once you get started. I buy online here in NZ from these people
http://www.rawessentials.co.nz/
and from my pet shop. I'm sure you'll find something similar online near you.
Boy oh Boy, I remember when we just started out. It was all consuming. We prepared a few weeks food all by hand in the kitchen...raw meats, organs and shyte all over. Nah I won't go down that route again. It's soooo much easier getting it from a place that specialize in it. I get the patties (bones and organs all minced up) and fill a tray in the freezer...make up some vegetables for a week, and it's easy from there on. I also don't use beef, lamb or chicken. Only rabbit/hare, possum, wild goat, venison and the like. 2% of their body weight is the portion.
Interesting, since they eat this way, they hardly drink water anymore..they obviously get enough moisture from the diet. Their skin problems (the big dog itched terribly when she was on kibble) are gone. Stools are way smaller..and hardly any smell. I can see by their general demeanor how much good this food is doing them.
Just fed them now...:D

Hey all, it's been a while. Hope everyone is safe and well <3 So after @EvlSmrk contacted me recently for some info about RCM, I remembered that I had previously planned to pick up a solid white Infinity TWIST before COVID turned our world into an unpredictable horrorscape.

Today, I picked up where I left off and went ahead and ordered one. I sent them a DM via IG with my details and requested finish and they offered me a "regular customer" 15% discount. How cool is that?

I'm pretty psyched to have some shiny on the way once again. Now comes the excruciating wait for updates from Russian Post :D

I couldn't help myself - Shinyitis got the better of me late last night.

I pre-ordered the new SXK Delro clone. I've been lusting after a Delro ever since I first saw one but the OG cost around $700 to $1K and are near impossible to find.

Went with the blue/Sevo 70 version.

$98.00 SXK Delro Styled 70W TC VW AIO Mod Kit - 1-70W / 2200mAh / SEVO 70 chipset at FastTech - Free Shipping

People point out the lipo 2200mAh battery as a con but I'll be looking for a spare pack asap.
I hope you've got a soldering iron....doesn't look like the lipo on this is easy to change. That's why I've been reticent...although I do have a soldering iron. Have you dropped them a line to see if it's accessible??

it's just_ you knwo_ you know_ it's like a whole new door
i get one and then i'd want two tanksm one's gotta be a dwarv and be a mess to find one so late in the game and then i'd want a backup mod and then a back up of the loverer tank

and with the comparable total size and how happy i am with pulse, i know, know, this is pure shiniyitis not a practical issue and yes practicality is the death of culture and efficiency the scourge of civilization and in this context this would be the poetry and i should probably not go on coz i started against and seem to be convincing myself of the merit so GOWAYGOWAYGOWAYGOWAYGOWAY
You'll stop poking yourself in the eye with your tank.....you need one :D

hey guys, sorry can't keep up with two threads apparently, and it's likely to get worse very soon...

I pray all are well and happy!

Can I get a few user insights into the hand feel of the Abyss?
The abyss....well it's quite a heavy mod but comfortable to hold and the firing button is well placed for me.....I hold mine like this...and fire with the side of my thumb....you do have to get used to not covering the air intake but the cutout makes that easy really. It's just a case of getting used to it....

Damn that's frustrating...to say the least. Do you feel the infection physically, or is it detected by the doctor?
How does it affect your vaping?
I get a high fever and body aches, coughing up crap etc. I have a store of antibiotics which I then start if the fever gets worse after treating myself with homeopathy and paracetamol. It's important that I don't leave things to get really bad....I hate taking the antibiotics but needs must....
Vaping wise I just continue pretty much as usual but I don't vape as much as I used to any way....doesn't seem to affect the infection but I don't know whether it contributes to the situation. I have GERD too which I think is the main cause....all caused by the chemo I think!!

Anna did buy a house in WV that she loves but the job with the VA didn't work out. She just started a virtual job that looks good to her. She is not still here. She was banned.

Hello Fran and thanks for the reply. Yes I knew Anna was banned and was having troubles with the work scenario, so happy she is doing her own thing. If you still have contact with her, please pass on my very best wishes, I miss her, hope she was able to buy a home and is happy in it and has settled into life in WV .From West USA to the East eh. I think you both must be in the same time zone now?

Anyway, hope you are good too, madly mixing up amazing flavours I'm sure.... OK stay well, enjoy that mixing, Boudica.

Morning shinies ;)

It's always awesome to see you in here
I'm improving, I've only got 1 FT incoming!!!

S**T OMG are you ok LOL.
You can tell me all the details (with pics) when SMT picks us up ha ha!
Over summer I got very caught up with the Americas Cup, it was literally in my back yard. Taking wee kids from local surf lifesaving club and boyscouts out every (sailing) day to join the flotilla. Was great fun with overnight stays on Rangitoto Is, had a few hairy moments. (Not physical)..Like when a few of the little darlings asked me questions like......"Why does the current run this way and not that way?"
I'm like..."Errr lets look for Arkala" LOL.

Hope you and all the animals doing ok in the lower temps.
Hope the FT orders getting through to you in under a decade.
Hope Luna is behaving!
Cheers Ange, Boudica.

Hey there @Boudica ! Great to see you and hope all's been well. :thumb:

Hi @Pigs, back at ya.
Yes thank's just got caught up in a lot of "life" Ha ha, was very invested last summer in Americas Cup, literally in my back yard, now cricket and rugby union, rugby league. HA!

Oh yes, plus WORK....
Hope you ok in NSW, a few new cases cropping up eh? That's how we live now.

Anyway as I said to Ange, yak to you when SMT picks us up.....I did have to remind him that I'm in NZ, not a part of OZ, no offence lol.
Don't forget to let SMT know your must have music, cheers Pigs, Boudica.

The OG has an easy-change clip. I'm assuming this will too. No problem if not - got a decent soldering station and don't mind a bit of soldering. I wired up 16 x 16 TRS jack to bantam (patch bay) loom connectors in a few days last year. That's 192 solder points. A battery change would be ok.

In the spec it says fixed so I guess soldering is on the cards!! If you're experienced then shouldn't be a problem but I know it takes a bit of practice to be neat. I'm ok with braising and soldering when plumbing but I haven't had much experience with the fiddly stuff :)

On the vaping front i did wake up to semi good news,my Fasttech package is on route and to be delivered today:

Problem is i am not sure if i am getting the actual package or i am getting the letter...letter means i have been one of the unlucky ones and i need to go and pay the ''taxes'' before they hand over the package.
So yeah i will just have to wait and see.

I read the EU directive and it doesn't come into force until July so you should be ok. It was going to be earlier but they extended it to give businesses more time to adjust....that's my understanding anyway....it's a long document as is any EU directive :)

Missed your post sorry for the late reply buddy, allergy meds leave me groggy.

Good to hear from you,you have been missed :)

Health wise well my pops is doing a tad better,no tumoral markers so it seems the chemo did its job,now its just the 3 times a week sessions of dialysis.
Also recently bought him an exercise bike and he has been using it everyday, just 10 minutes to start with for now...better to start slow and just take it one day at a time.

I am doing so so,i might have an hiatal hernia but gotta get it confirmed with that tube thing they put down your throat, with Covid and all that it will take a month or so until they can squeeze me in.

Apart from that its the same old rutine everyday, nothing much changes in my life.

Hope you are doing ok and oh about the trip we got this little plan i came up with.
Whoever wins the lottery (atleast high 6 figures or low 7 figures) has to arrange and pay for everything for us to go on a road trip to go visit Daniel, still have room so if you're up to it you are welcome to the party :)

Talk to you soon buddy :)

WoW x3 a week is still quite a toll on your pops eh, easy does it. A toll on you both of course, how does Pops get there? You? It's hard work I know, with our without help. I know, I nursed both mum and dad through cancer until passing, was hard work...Horiffic really, honestly...
But One Day at a Time we do it, like you I went and lived with them, quite honestly I'e never been the same since, However I would do it again if I had to!

Heck 10mins on that exercise bike for a man of that age, with his health history is bloody fantastic. Flipping heck that's amazing. Seriously damn great.

Anyway Budd I know you have had your own serious health battles, really hope you are doing ok, Hey I have A H Hernia, had the camera down the throat thing, no worries. Drived myself there and back, no drugs but they sprayed a yummy tasting numbing spray down my throat first (was yum... think of your best Pina Colada vape LOL) and was fine. You will be ok. The thought of it is far worse than the procedure.

I think I've mentioned b4 my grandmother was Spanish, from Barcelona, I have visited there often and every time I arrive I feel a special feeling like...I'm home. One of my daughters teaches Spanish at NZ Uni, other daughter teaches Spanish at primary school.

I'm hard out KIWI....rugby and water sports are my religion , my dad was a rugby union and rugby league player and later coach.after my divorce I took back my Spanish name and as said am hard out Kiwi, but...Barcelona and Valencia make me feel...I don't know, funny.

Blah blah,
OK Bud, take care, One Day at A Time.
Good luck with ALL eh!

OMG sorry it's a long post.
Sincerely...take care and yep I agree with your lotto plan, might buy x2 tickets Saturday, who knows, can't win without a ticket eh!
Boudica.

The OG uses bullet connectors - no soldering and only 4 screws to undo:
