Sometimes they leave the cecum behind, but mostly they clean their plates.
At some times of year we get rats that come in through the sub floor and chew tunnels through into the house. Behind the old stove is their favourite ingress.
I once trapped a male so big that he was able to climb the curtain from the floor, jump onto the table, steal whole apples from the fruit bowl (did this twice) , push them onto the floor and drag them back under the stove, where I discovered the cores.

This rat was my Nemesis- named him Moriarty.
Cunning and powerful, I finally got him after weeks of nightly attempts with various baits in an old school wooden neck-snapper trap.

A piece of apple was his downfall of course.

I woke up in the middle of the night after hearing the snap/thud of the trap going off and couldn't believe the size of him. Must have weighed close to a kilo and had cojones the size of cherries.

I threw a party in celebration. All the neighbourhood cats came along.

Oh Swami PatRock - who but a true Guru would say that? We are not fooled by your modest claims
Nope. Just a regular user who has used them. I almost used that big red X :(

Mooch is a battery guru and reviewer, not me. He has earned the right to be quoted, etc., certainly not me. You might want to check his blog as he did post about Lipo's a few years ago.

I should never be quoted, seriously.

Ok here are some first impressions:

The build quality and external finish (anodised aluminium) are excellent. The door fits snugly and has zero gaps or movement. In fact, when I cover the air intake with my thumb and take a puff, there is no air sneaking around the outside at all. Pretty much a vacuum.

The main flaw on mine is on the inside - a manufacturing mark of some sort on the aluminium around the edges of the screen. Maybe it has something to do with the anodising process - it doesn't look like regular machining marks. It doesn't bother me personally but some people might be annoyed by it. Slipped through in the first-run QC rush maybe.

You can see it in this photo (the lighter parts of the "swirl" are little ridges catching the light. There are no scratched or silver bits):

The two main benefits of this design over the BB are the super smooth af (maybe the honeycomb holes?)
and the fact that the chipset is on the same horizontal plane as the boro.

Leaking from RBA's onto the positive pin of BBs and down into the electronics has caused many a problem - and yes even DNA's can blow from this.
With the Delro this can't happen. Any leaks that got through the pos pin would end up in the battery cavity. I guess this could cause issues but much less likely to do damage than juice on a SEVO or DNA board.

I'm not a hundred percent convinced of SXK's claim of 2200mAh battery life but need to do more testing to have a better idea.

Bottom line is I love it so far! As soon as the planets align I'll be buying a DNA version.

If anyone's interested in size comparisons with the Abyss, Billet Box and Boxx, let me know and I'll post (more ) photos.

    A+

More pics when you finish developing them. More airflow than the Boxx? Or do I just get one of each?

The Boxx has got a bit more airflow but the Delro's af is super smooth.
    Get one of each

Two quick added observations about the Delro - one is that the the design "dimples" around the letter d on the door make it really easy to pull that door open with your thumb. Easier to check juice levels than with the Boxx.
The other is that it's an easy mod to drop. It's kind of slippery and I've already dropped it once (phew- no dings!)

My husband had been a trapper all his life, so he took it in stride. Wooden Victor traps with peanut butter worked fine for him. But I can’t set them without hurting myself.

so I’ve tried all I can find. The sticky traps have the highest success rate, but they’re brutal. Mice live for hours, screaming in pain. That would be my last resort. I tried a live trap and after two weeks, I caught a mouse and a half - one had gotten all the way in, and the second got caught in the door. It was still alive when I checked the trap, and I took it to a field to release them but as soon as I opened the door, the mouse seized and died. I threw that trap away.
I got an electric trap, which is super quick and as humane as possible considering the purpose, but I haven’t had any takers.
So I’m using plastic snap TomCats. They can’t be adjusted, and don’t work well for skinny winter mice, but they seem to snap in the summer when they’re well-fed.
It probably sounds silly, but you folks know me, killing any animal is traumatic for me.
I saw the cutest little mouse under the bird feeder a week or two ago kind of brown and white spots, probably an escaped pet, but for the pesky vermin, I squish some bread on the bait bar and add some peanut butter works a treat. I dont like them in the garage,

I don’t know... I was just dealing with a mouse, driven indoors by the relentless rain. This is a thing that makes me miss Dan more than anything else, because I’m not great at trapping and I go full Barney Fife when I actually catch one and have to take it out of the trap. I did consider getting a cat - I’d have to consult with Georgia of course, but I think she’d like a cat if it were ‘her’ cat. If I could train it to dispose of the carcasses properly, I’d be in, but not knowing where I’d find them is probably more than my nerves can bear.

Apart from butter fingers, what's the difference in hand feel between the two?

Forgot to post this earlier
My cats gobble them up after the play sessions.

That was only her second real mouse, and got flung out the window by moi. When she finally caught her first one, she flung it up in the air, it landed and then ran outside through a tiny gap in the door. She wasn't amused - both times :D

Must have weighed close to a kilo and had cojones the size of cherries.

We unfortunately have a few males nearly that big under the chicken sheds (marbles, not cherries). I get the odd smaller one laughing at me, when I lift up the nesting box lid. I always make a ton of noise now before lifting the lid - so they scramble. Otherwise I make a ton of girly noise, when I see one

My BIL is as much of a wuss around rats as I am. He had one running down his digger boom towards him, when digging out a shed - he promptly abandoned ship :D

The Boxx has a better hand feel to me. The way the battery tube fits in your palm and the recessed fire switch is super comfortable.
The Delro has a a boxier feel but is also a little smaller. Nice the way you can hold it with the buttons facing you and thumb fire, or you can flip it around with the buttons facing away and fire with your index finger. It's almost better as a left hand mod imo.

I love the look of the Delro and can't wait for the transparent panels (still on Chinese shores even though shipped well before the mod. E-packet v Expedited Air)

    I got cute podmod vapemail:
    pm80.jpg

I had no idea it was this small - 4ml tank, a 2000mah battery and it fills the room with a few exhales :D

I'm already hooked on the GTX coils. Using the 0.3ohm at 30 watts, it's one of the best flavour drop-in coils I've tried. Airflow-wise - I've left it wide open with no plugs, and it's perfect

This shows its size, Kroma Z, PM80, Luxe Q, 30ml chubby vanilla

Your panels are partying up large with my Ursa rba :grr:
