I'm tossing up between ash grey, cloudy grey and leather white again for z80 no. 2.

It's mainly gonna have a stainless rta on it, and I'm not too worried about it being matchy matchy. It's more whether the 'suede' finish will hold up to my sticky fingers.

What is the Drip tip situation on the Arbiter Solo?
They say they resolved the issue with the ''wobbly'' drip tip but my friend that owns the vape shop sold one and the person who bought it complained about this.
Think it was like a week or so ago so it struck me as odd unless they sold him one from the older batch.

Had my eye on that atty for a long time, gotta see if i get a translating gig next month so i can get afford one.

    Hiya to everyone :)

Friday night at home, been binge watching movies and tv shows,so far i watched Jungle Cruise and the first two episodes of Turner & Hooch (Remake of the Tom Hanks movie from the 80's)

And the best for last and i ain't lying nor its sarcasm...Nicolas Cage's latest movie titled ''Pig''!!!
    WOW!!! :thumbs::thumbs:

Been a long time since i have seen Nicolas Cage be that good in a movie, character development wise it is up there along with Leaving Las Vegas...seriously,if you haven't watched you gotta!!
Mine isn’t wobbly. Second one is in transit, but fingers crossed. I ordered from China, so I was a little afraid it would be a wobbler. I read the same review as you on reddit (saw you there ;)). I think the multi part cap plays a big part in the opportunity to get wonky. The ability to adjust not only the top af, but the bottom too would make up for a wobble to me. Also, it took me a hot minute to get the cap seated correctly when I first put it together. It’s possible his wasn’t totally locked down maybe?

Nah it was confirmed by OXVA that the first batch of Arbiters left with that wobbly drip tip defect.

Talked on the phone with the owner of the vape shop i usually use for my online orders and he said that after a couple of complaints they got in touch with the distributor and in reply they told him to send them all the Arbiters they had since those were from the first batch.

Told him i might get one in the future and he guaranteed the ones they have in stock aren't from the first batch of Arbiters that came out.

If all goes well next month i will get me an Arbiter, also gotta start saving for the Pulse V2...got a feeling i will like it and i want me some of those custom panels, already got my eye on a couple of them he he

It's not a suede finish unless you get the limited edition brown. They are kind of like a faux leather.....unless I'm missing something??

@Javichu checked my Arbiter solo and the drip tips solid enough. I did the AWT (aggressive wobble test) and you can wiggle it a touch but you'd never notice it vaping. I then tried all my nearby mods and they passed as well...they all wobbled a touch too :D
I may have to revise my method and use the GWT (gentle wobble test) ......all my drip tips are wobbling now

    :)

Put the dvarw on a little istick s80 at work with a simple round wire 26ga. kanthal 3mm to be sure the 13 feets would fill the wick holes. Pretty good vape, not quite up to a rda, but pretty good. I think it will be my work vape for a while.

I have the ash grey and it’s sort of a brushed leather or suede.

I've got the ash grey and white still boxed and I just assumed they be the same as my French flag colour win....the white sure looks the same.

I was skeptical about that Cotton because it’s cheap, from Amazon. But it’s actually really good. Plus I get a kick out of the randomness of 13 feets.

    Greetings fellow vaperinos :)

So today was a good day.
Got up at 8 am,did some house cleaning,2 loads in the washing machine and decided to make some of my world famous award winning potatoe salad for my pops.

Picked him up from Dialysis, served him lunch then put him to bed for a well deserved siesta.

Got in front of the pc and i notice the taste just ain't there, take apart the Juggy Mini and yeah the coil needs changing.

Not good...i mean last time i changed a coil it took me more than 30 minutes, dang thing wouldn't read properly and i couldn't get it to glow from the inside out,on top of that multiple hot spots...went away then started somewhere else on the coil...total nightmare.

Anyway i sigh and get my desk ready, all my tools laid out in front of me and get mentally ready for such task.
Apart from that i had my Z80 & Zenith II on the desk filled with nic salts because i know i will get stressed and i need that nic kick or else i will bang my head on the wall.

I start the procedure and wam bam thank you maam i was done in 5 minutes :w00t::w00t:

Everything clicked into place, the ohm reading was exactly the same (coil was reading at 0.25 and its advertised as 0.26),2 hot spots that went away quickly and after a couple of strums and some compressing voila!! All set!!

    Basically it felt like this:

I know i know its a small thing but oh man i sure needed this ;)
