Thanks for replying because I’d never had to pay an import fee or tax. I’m not really sure what the name of it is called. I was afraid that this may be some new rule that I hadn’t seen before.

If I'm not mistaken, our delightful state government requires you to pay them any vaping tax which you may have avoided by buying from a company which doesn't charge the ridiculous 70% excise tax.
I might be wrong.
As I recall the penalty for not complying is death. Your choice which method.

mid this new? I’ve shopped for A LOT of vape gear but never heard about any taxes.

I was actually thinking of getting a Mixx I found it at FT but can’t find it again.

It's $39.19 at Sourcemore with free shipping. You need to login to see that price. SM ships fast compared to FT. My last couple orders took 8 and 14 days respectively.

The Mixx is a nice mod. Very well built. Fires fast. I have a couple.

I wouldn't worry about that. Several European sites I've purchased from have had a similar blurb. StattQualm in Switzerland has the following bit when placing an order...

I've never had to pay any VAT or customs fees. I think they need to include that to cover their own .... just in case some other country does collect fees.

You may want to check the connection with the DNA chip on the front of the mod Charlie. I'm pretty sure Evolv only made the DNA chips capable of installing a Micro USB adapter on the front of the board, Not a USB- C adapter like Pigs is using(he's given you a link to that one).
So you will most likely need something like this $5.69 Cafele Magnetic Micro-USB to USB 2.0 Data & Charging Cable (200cm) at FastTech - Free Shipping

Nope I'm not sure which female connection it is but it's definitely not a micro USB. It's similar to my Samsung note connector. I don't expect any problems though as I'm pretty sure it states that it's upgradeable on the blurb.

I asked because @Tor R bought several new standard Pico's and discovered that they weren't upgradeable to Arctic Fox. Here's a link if you're interested. I'm pretty sure the X works with it!!

I put AF on one of my pico squeeze2's, and it worked well, but rolled it back because it didn't have bypass mode if that is important to you. FWIW
