:thumb: That's exactly how I am with buying vape stuff now. I'm well stocked for the zombie apocalypse. Don't really need anything. Gear I buy now has to meet my higher than normal high standards... or fuget-about-it. Much is liked, most is forgotten. ;)

Like you I scrutinize to the N'th degree, I'm like the Central Scrutinizer. :D

This is the Central Scrutinizer...
It is my responsibility to enforce all the laws
That haven't been passed yet
It is also my responsibility to alert each
And every one of you to the potential consequences
Of various ordinary everyday activities
You might be performing which could eventually lead to
The Death Penalty (or affect your parents' credit rating)

The central scrutinized.....the prequel to probably one of the best Zappa songs....and albums.

Actually for their sake, I hope they sell drip tips. If not they're about to loose out Big time when they don't gain you as a customer :D

Good morning shiny people. I got the Thelema Quest recently for a review and saw Sourcemore has it really cheap. I thought they would be a little more expensive since the dna version I bought was about 100. Anyway it’s a nice mod and comes with the ub pro tank. The battery covers are interchangeable with the original. Too bad they aren’t offering it with some of the nicer doors. I’d buy one just to get the cover.

I'm actually having second thoughts about it. Apparently it doesn't perform as well as it looks...or is that should
I'm over buying just anything...like I used to. I triple guess myself before I buy lately.
When in doubt, there's no doubt ;)

Well I love it, but Hittman does not - I haven’t heard (not that I’ve really tried to) from anyone else who’s opinion matters to me about it one way or the other.
Hittman is a bit more discerning than I am, and honestly if you’re on the fence I’d probably say pass on the Z1. I’m not a huge fan of the SBS thing so I don’t have a bunch to compare this one to, and I was not impressed by the Abyss.
The Boxx or Mixx might suit you better, and a few folks here have those.

It’s not that I don’t like it but it seemed to me I had to set the watts higher for the same output on a subtank. I didn’t reallly notice it with the included mtl tank. That’s why I mentioned that the output seemed low. Some people might not mind it or notice it. It seems well built otherwise.

Do a little video if possible....but depends on the problem. I had an Abyss which slowly drained the battery to zero. They asked for a video for that....what was I supposed to do a time lapse!!!

Anyway they replaced it without seeing it in the end.

Hope you're doing ok Sue

I should have contacted them about mine too. I wonder if I still can? I’ll check into that.

When I took it out of the box I thought for sure I would never use the included tank, but I really like it. Haven’t even tried a different atty on it yet.

Is it a bottom, or side airflow Ange? His coil (in that thread) is mighty high for a bottom flow...
That looks very similar to the Mobb Mini deck (only bigger). Same high coil position works surprisingly well with that under-coil air flow. It seemed strange at first but works great with the Mobb.

I tried one of each of the coils that came in that little box of coils that came with it and didn't get very good flavor. I wound one with my own mtl clapton wire and it was much better. I liked the tank for MTL with Nets well enough.

Did I ever tell you that I have every official Zappa release? Also have all the ones the Family released posthumously (live and studio). And I have a bunch of Zappa bootlegs, some so-so quality and others pristine, and some gems from the FOH output. The posthumous concert releases are awesome. Each was professionally mixed and mastered, clean and clear. Love Zappa.

It's both. It has a 1.5mm for MTL mode, and dual 3mm side holes for RDL. In RDL mode, you get the MTL bottom air plus the 3mm side holes
    Oxva_Arbite_Solo_Deck.jpeg

And of course the top airflow dial can close that down if you want it more restricted.

I rewicked this morning, raised up my coil and got the fantastic flavour I was after  It seems to be an easy deck to rewick too - a stuff, cut and poke. It's had no trouble keeping up with my excessive chain-vaping, which is always worse with a new toy :D
    solodeck-01.jpeg

2.5mm id, ni80 30*2/38 - I take no credit for the even wrapping of this coil, it came with the Arbiter!
