I bought myself a battery tester to...same as yours.
I'm a bit confused as to what i'm actually testing though. It shows the current charge (3.77)and that charge as a percentage....and the internal resistance (10)
Do I have it on the right setting? What does the resistance indicate...if any?
I tested all my batteries, and the internal resistances varies from 9 to 17. What does that mean?
I'm starting to think that I bought something I don't really need...I mean, my wall battery charger tells me the current charge of a battery.

I'm still getting my head around it all myself. My understanding is the lower the IR the better condition the cell is in. Once mine turns up, I am absolutely positive (pun intended) that I will have some really crappy cells with high IR. That should give us a benchmark

My other half bought a pack of smokes again, i have had her try virtually everything i have. Including a nord with a 1.4 mtl coil and a 18mg. She is um picky.
She says they are all too wet. I had virtually given up when i picked up a disposeable for her. She likes it to the point ive had to get another cause she killed it lol.
I can live with this cause she is not on the stinkies.
I never liked salts, so is that what she likes?
For yall that mtl, are the salts a drier vape to you?
Id like to find a refillable etc but until i can find what it is that makes the diposeables good to her i feel id spend a small fortune....
Not to mention the disposable she likes is 16 bucks and lasted like 8 days.

Without an accurate ESR/IR meter and consistent way of connecting the battery to the meter it can be hard to measure the internal resistance consistently and/or accurately. Those chargers are not known for their accurate IR measuring abilities unfortunately.
It is critical when doing IR checks to make sure every battery is at the same state of charge and temperature. Let them sit for an hour after charging and then quickly run the test, handling the battery as little as possible. Your warm hands can measurably lower the IR reading if handled too much.

The only thing I am trying to find out from measuring the IR is: which of my older batteries are really really crap and need recycling, which are really crap and could be replaced, and which can still stay in rotation.
Testing a new cell and my oldest that already in the recycling pile, should give me the benchmark numbers - along with the info I've found from Mooch.

From what I can see, it's telling you that your cells are all in good condition. Just times your data by 10 for this table:
According to 18650 Battery Testing Experts @ Cadex :
75-150 mOhm - Excellent
150-250 mOhm - Good
250-350 mOhm - Marginal
350-Up mOhm - Bad
I still have 18650's from 2017 that are in use.
I threw a battery away two weeks ago. I tested it in a few mods and non would start up. Wish I didn't. With this tester I maybe could've seen something. That's why I bought it....for when it happens again.
I also heard if a battery's voltage falls beyond 3.0V (some say 2.5V), its time to chuck it...the internals has broken down to much. Even the salesman where I bought it said the same..he said he throws his batteries at 3.0V.
Again i thought this tester will test that for me.
Now thinking about that...what does that really mean?
I mean our mods shuts down way before that voltage. How does a battery even get to that low voltage?

I was able to quit using tight MTL pens and kits from Innokin. I needed a drip tip that was the same size as a filter, and cigarette style airflow.
They have a few kits in this ballpark available, and Aspire has also put one out similar to this.

No idea, but I've had a few that dropped below 3v and got binned. My guess is the chemistry inside is FUBAR and the voltage is dropping when resting.
And I've got a couple in that state that I haven't taken into town yet, so they can be guinea pigs

You have any idea if its the salt that makes her say its a drier vape? I didnt like salts so cant speak to that.
