@Hightech Redneck For science, I tried a couple of Blu+ tanks on the coilmaster and got 3.45 ohm readings on their coils. I don't know what disposable you tried, but they might be high ohm coils as well.

If your state doesn't tax vape up the wazoo, it might be worth trying the Blu+ cigalike. I liked the Gold Leaf tobacco tanks for the flavor--about $15 for a 3-pack. It's a little cheaper than the disposable.

I think people are too quick to recycle cells. We both know that if properly maintained they will last a lot longer than a year. I expect 5-6 years from a cell.

I use Sony/Murata VTC5D's as well. Even though Mooch rates the P26A's as best all around 18650 I suspect the actual difference between those and the VTC5D's is minimal. In my experience the VTC5D's hold a charge better than any other cell (including the P26A's).
Couldn't agree more. Think about the minimum 8 years that Tesla 18650 battery banks average out at. Same cells as ours fundamentally, just configured differently.

Earlier today I posted this in another thread. It will be of interest to those of you who are still purchasing vape gear from China.

Did everyone see this from FastTech...

"In about a month, Hong Kong will ban the processing and shipping of all vape products."

That will affect FastTech and every other vendor based out of Hong Kong. Reading the tea leaves... eventually mainland China will follow suit. China is clamping down on vaping.

Yes, I may change my mind about paying that $34 shipping fee for a Sourcemore order. We may look back and think that was a cheap way to get gear.

    Agreed.

I hate to sound like the harbinger of the Vapocalypse but if folks are still in need of any gear the time to buy is now.

    Morning shinies ;)

Talking about chemistry...you've got more between the ears than me. When you had a play with this tester, plz give me your thoughts ;)

Will do. And the only thing I have more of between the ears than you, is hair. We all have our strengths and weaknesses - unlike yourself, I'm completely clueless when it comes to horticulture

@Fredman1 this might explain your delro problem. Getting "strict" makes more sense.
Has it shipped via Netherlands Post yet?

Yes they seem to be starting to clamp down. It was denied exit out of China for some reason. FT is now waiting for it to be sent back from their border control. Then they'll resend it via Post NL.
I also had a apology email from FT about another order that is taking its time. They say its because of manufacturing problems created by the holiday backlog.

I would think the Chinese Communist party is doing that to control its own people..and its own money interests from smoking. Vaping inside China is obviously becoming a serious threat to their tobacco industry...similar to the rest of the world actually.
But i'm sure they won't shut down the vaping supply chain to the rest of the world....its just not in own their interest.

BUT, if a vaping apocalypse has to hit right now, i'll be fine. I have enough concentrates in the freezer to last me a lifetime....cotton the same. Thinking about it, I need to stock up on nicotine.
I have my beloved Cabeos and other good RBAs and RTAs. I seriously don't think flavor by using cotton can get much better by using newly designed tanks.
I think we've just about reached the pinnacle of what cotton can do.
Before the apocalypse I would love to see some other means of creating vapor...something ultrasonic or by some other means. I think if done right it could potentially lift flavor to the next level.

More than anything China is doing this to ensure the money continues to flow in from tobacco sales. The smoking rate in China is 45%.

Velvet Glove, Iron Fist: China's war on vaping
It is obvious what China Tobacco's motivation is. They fear missing out on cigarette sales if people switch to vaping. The Chinese government, insofar as it can be distinguished from the tobacco monopoly, doesn't want to miss out on tax revenue.

I'm sure they will continue to export wholesale to resellers and B&M's around the world.

Currently we do not know if China will continue to allow selling direct to international customers via FT, SM etc.

The vaping market is worth billions to them yearly. In 2020 China exported $8 billion worth of vaping gear. China's Decision to Regulate Vaping Products Has Global Implications

Verified Market Research estimates the worldwide vaping market will grow from $10 billion in 2020 to nearly $74 billion by 2028. Mordor Intelligence says the global e-cigarette industry generated nearly $19 billion of revenue last year with about 17% annual growth expected through 2026.

It's in Los Angeles California now I asked them to put a tracer on it and send it 3 hours maximum away from Miami to Melbourne Florida and they sent it to Los Angeles California. I don't know what the issue is at one point it was going the right direction and now it is as far away as it can get and still be in America. I'm just going to write it off as a loss I am not going to get my prize lol I think for my own mental health at this point I'm just going to stop caring

So apparently this is why it's happening they know enough about it to know why it's happening It was literally in the office of exchange whatever that is and yet it's still bouncing. It's now been to California it just recently made it yesterday to the closest distribution center in my area that usually delivers it to my county but the fact that it isn't in my county yet and my county is 45 minutes away and it's been over 12 hours indicates this is headed back to Miami international processing center because they think it's being exported instead of imported and then once it gets to ISC they'll realize oh no this is supposed to be imported not exported and it'll do the rounds again.

So apparently the lesson here is companies shouldn't put the labels next to each other because it messes up the scanner and this could go on endlessly because for whatever reason over the past week they have been unable to contact anyone to manually process this

The ongoing saga of "what is happening with the vape mail" continues
    This is stranger than fiction.
@AvaOrchid you should write this down as a list of places and times, then draw it on a map with each leg of the journey in a different coloured pencil.

You might run out of colours though
