vape Mail came today - a Dead Rabbit v3 rda. Well actually it was here yesterday but I didn’t hear the doorbell to sign for it. I think it’s the 1st time I’ve had to do that.

Anyways I left a note to the post person to redeliver it and today they did without my signature. Go figure!

It wasn’t anything “new” since I already have several in different colors. I wanted a black matte one to match the black on the blue Topside squonker.

Got it up and running and Life Is Good

oh and I wanted to give Ecigmafia a shout out for shipping it the day I ordered it! I don’t know if anyone has purchased from them but their shipping is really quick and customer service is very good! I’ve bought from them several times now and always quick an reliable.

I got lucky Ange. It was the last white delrin one left at Vaperchoice. It'd been used as a display item but never handled (they said) or vaped. Got a big discount. Still has all the packaging and stuff.
From what I can tell, Veepon have moved away from delrin and are now manufacturing the Tita in aluminium.
I love the feel of the delrin finish - almost soft in the hand

I'm so glad you were able to get it!

    Thanks Ange.
I bought a BP Mods Pioneer Dot RBA to go with it. I picked it up today and already on my second wick job.
Would love to hear from anyone who uses the Pioneer Dot RBA. I've found it needs less wick than other top feed (gravity) RBAs (like the Qbix). I was getting dry hits on my first build (0.25mm ID NI80 fused clapton 0.55Ohms) with what looked like the right amount of cotton. Next wick was thinned out more and so far it's ok but not as saturated as I'd like yet. Cotton still breaking in.

I'm using the 3mm AF pin with a 70 VG juice but maybe this atty is better for MTL with 50/50 juice?

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    Hi T.
I haven't got that specific rba but in my experience some of them can be very finicky about wicking especially the tail placement and how the ends are cut. I don't know how you're doing that but I'd try changing that aspect until you crack it....fluffed, plonked in, right angles to corner (unlike the cubic) etc.
Many of the rba's need this tweaked before they're right.
    Hope this helps :)

Here's my first draft of a diy translucent door for the Tita. I used a soldering iron to start off the ouline to melt the plastic so it didn't crack. Then a Stanley knife to cut and trim.
It's as rough as guts but at least I know the material should work.
    No zooming in please.
I used the lid of an old fishing tackle box. Next one will be neater - will start on it tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
At least I can see my juice and battery levels for now.

That's not bad for a first attempt. I'm not crafty at all when it comes to making stuff like that.

    Happy birthday, @Fidola13!

Thanks! I love Mission of Burma! That brings back some great memories of doing sound in Boston at all the music clubs!

the full-size pioneer is fiddly too. I've dumped like 3 tanks building it.

    Good morning Shiny's
Been awhile since I jumped on a bandwagon so broke down and ordered some upland reserve from coil clout during a sale. So far I'm pleased; break in is very short and wicks well out the gate. Now to see how long it holds up.

That's why I chose it for you. I remembered that I posted a video of "That's When I Reach for My Revolver" a while back and we bonded over our mutual affection for the Boston music scene in the eighties.
