DIY translucent Tita panel mk II !

Used the same type of plastic (lid of an old tackle box) but this time used a drill instead of a soldering iron and took my time measuring and cutting.

Went for 6 x honeycomb af holes instead of one wide oblong hole. Might change that later depending on how it vapes.

The fit is tight enough that I don't need magnets. It stays on nice and snug with no rattles.

You've done a beautiful job with that Mate:thumb:

I'd just thought I'd let you know that you're work bench is rough as guts:?:

I believe that I am waiting for two vape mail items soon from fasttech and 3Vape.

it took awhile for 3vape to ship and I’ll have to see what’s happening at FT. It’s a couple of RDAs that I wanted in black to balance the number of colored Rdas I have lol!

Ha ha ha! And I’ve got a bridge to sell you in the Florida swamps! I bought stuff cuz I’m a Shiny lol!

    Morning shinies ;)

I have my coil set pretty close to the airflow. It's about 1.5mm away from the AF and raised so air hits the bottom third of the coil. I think that's the sweet spot. Any further away and I found the flavor suffers.

My geeky self measured how far the top cap AF was inset and then I adjusted my coil from there.

Looking at your side view pic the coil looks like it could be brought closer to the AF.

Thank you, I think you hit the nail on the head

I'd used my voodoo doll method of sticking in a skewer with the cap on, to get the coil height. But I never thought about moving the coil closer to the airflow. I'll try that this morning!

    Hey all.
    No vape purchases here.
But we are broke like many of yall, however for a different reason.
We had been looking for a new pup. We found one, full akc with breeding rights. Generally could care less but there is alot of money in dogs.
Any way, meet Bear. As in Teddy Bear. Handsome fella, tuckered out as we went a couple hours to get him. It will take a bit as he is a bit sad we took him from his sister.

Ah i'm so glad you like it Ange. The airflow is a personal thing. You'll have to play around with the coil...up and down...forward and back.
I'm very curious to hear what you think of the cotton...its Upland Sliver from Cotton Man.

Pulling the coil closer to the airflow holes worked a treat. The flavour is amazing

I've been too scared to try the cotton. I'll use it in my very next wick!

I really really like the looks of this mod. Reminds me of a Dani mod or the double barrel mod that I can’t remember the name of.

But a $149 for a dna 100, single battery, Think Vape (never tried one) is a lot of money for an unknown to me mod.

Anybody here have any experience with Think Vape or better yet has one? Would love to hear from real users not just YouTube reviews.

3f have the silver one in stock for $110. Looks like the other colours are sold out there and a lot of other places.

I tried upland sliver cotton this morning. It's like wicking with silk. Also love how the density is so even, and stays even after I do my twisty into the coil bit.
Taste-wise it does taste cleaner that my other cotton. I can see why so many of you love it.

But I rewick too often, and stuff up and have to rewick again :grr:. So my cheap cottons are a safer bet!
