The phone says it’s backed up to the cloud, but I don’t have an account. I’ll save the info and figure it out. Thanks for your help. :)

You get a free 5gb I believe with your Apple ID. To log into icloud you use your Apple ID and password

I keep buying stuff that’s NOT for the “stash”!

as I’m planning to catalog and organize all my gear based on type of item since that’s how I started to do it 2 years ago before giving up lol!

what is your definition of “stash”? I definitely know that all of my mechs, some of my semi mechs and mods bought on flash sales are included in my stash. And I guess most of the double items like RBAs unless they’re of different colors. Those should still be easily available to me.

I’ll be putting the stash in my basement storage along side any vape juices and mixing liquids that should stay cool.

and should I also organize my stash via type of gear like I will on the non stash items or is this over kill? I’ll probably be sick of organizing at that point and throwing it all in one of the many clear plastic storage containers!
What I did was put few of each stash items (atties, mods) I knew I would use in one tote and categorized the rest by type for boxing. I used Plano fish tackle trays for dts, spare glass, pre wrapped coils, etc. All my cotton in one tote and all wire spools & tools are kept together.

    Well phlatbed delivered my juice.
Surprised to see an actually labeled amazon like van. Half expected to see an 80's civic drop it off lol.
Longer than usps used to take.
Oh and the tracking never showed a status update.
    Nevertheless its here.
Just putting it out there in case anyone else has a delivery with them.

I know there’s a battery sub thread on this site somewhere but I’m not to sure if anyone will see a post there.

so I have an xstar vc8 charger less than a year old. The only “issue” I have with it is that sometimes the second section of four batteries (bays 5–8) doesn’t light up/turn on.

unplugging it and then replug it back on doesn’t help. Or putting different batteries in that section also doesn’t help.

    Any thoughts?

I normally have 8-10 mods out in a rotation but more and more I find myself grabbing one of the squonkers or drippers.

I’ve yet to find a RTA that has the same or close to the same amount of flavor and dense clouds.

I’ve got a lot of RTAs some of which are really really good but side by side they just don’t have that extra oomph that rdas have.

I have so many beautiful mods and atties but I’m almost always using a squonker. This is kind of ironic since I really questioned and balked at squonks since I considered myself a hard core dripper lol!

But I was blown away from the the first puff I took on my first RDA that cost me $5 :thumb: !

Does anyone else notice the same thing happening to them?

I will say I chain vape the entire day so I go through a lot of juice. Having an atty that can hold 3 to 8mls of juice needs to be replenished many times.

Gawd I’m so lazy. And yes I know this is first class worries. Life should be so difficult for crying out loud !

This sounds like a good approach except I will keep all my gear in their original boxes. I’m a bit OCD about things lining up. I like having all the accessories and spare glass all together. I’ll label all the containers so I know where everything is. I’m glad I started doing this pretty soon after first vaping. I was diagnosed with Shinyitis right from the get go!

So I’ll start like you and pick out the hardware that I know I’ll use and keep them readily available. All the rest will be for the stash.

I have a feeling that the non stash items will be far bigger than the stash collection  !I may still need more storage cases.

I've come to the conclusion that every storage container I buy will be instantly filled. If I stack many more containers in the basement then the wife is going to get wise as to how much stuff I actually have and I don't want that. I'm going to have to start thinning the herd.

Is your Xtar VC8 still under warranty??? If so, go that route.

I would still post the problem you are having with the Xtar VC8 in the batteries and chargers sub. Batteries and Chargers

A quick look at the reviews on Amazon shows the VC8 has some "issues". Amazon.com: Customer reviews: 8 Slots 18650 Battery Charger XTAR VC8 Charger

I'm pretty certain Amazon reviews for other mfr chargers would also show some "issues".

In 2019 I bought an Xtar X2 charger. Right after the warranty expired one of the bays died. Go figure. Moral of the story, any of the chargers we use can, and do, fail.

Meanwhile, my very old Nitecore chargers still work fine. My Miboxer C4-12 v2 charger (bought 2019-08-06) also works fine. :)

Agreed 100%. I've been trying to add in an rta to my morning wake-up squonkathon, but no luck yet. My Axials only have a puny 5 wrap 30*2/40 coil - but they still have more density than an rta with more wraps and surface area.

If it was me, I'd just open it up and check for a broken connection. Sounds like whatever attaches the power to those other four bays is broken.

Most of my hardware is in their original packaging and then packed in sterilite totes of varying sizes. I just make sure my totes aren't heavier than I can manage. Lol

I returned the larger earlier cases because they were going to be way too heavy for me to carry.

Best to be prepared with explanations. Some pretty legitimate examples in your case:

    - Much of that is equipment I get for review, so it cost nothing and It's marked not for resale. (Technically correct in most cases)

    - The entire lot cost me less than X years of smoking. (The classic frugality ploy)

    - With the restrictions ahead I may never be able to get this again, so this is to keep me from smoking for the rest of my life. (The truth)

    - It's not like I bought a motorcycle or a boat. (Last ditch desperation)

If necessary, provide one or more of these over a wonderful dinner with drinks.

    Additional rationalizations provided upon request.:)

I used the restrictions excuse to get a freezer and 12 liters of nic. I’ll have to pick a new one.

It's usually bubbled and on a z80, but since I had help from Dan, a pink colossal was more appropriate :sneaky:

I'm definitely going to need at least one more of these. It's got the bulleproofness and flavour of the Mini, but adds in a top fill, looks amazing and slightly more restricted airflow. The airflow feels slightly smoother to me too, but that may just be the difference in restriction.

In a nutshell: I love it

Well atleast i can say the bike gets 40 miles to the gallon.

    Might help

I will just keep buying black mods so its not as noticeable. And the spares are in boxes in my vape lair closet.

    Oh hmmmm
She will probably sell the boxes for 50 bucks if something happens to me lmao...

My husband used to call me into the den and say “Look at this ruby ring (diamond earrings/platinum brooch/ gold necklace) I found on eBay!”

He bought me more guilt jewelry, I swear lol.

@Javichu - I sent SM the links to my reviews and asked for more stuff. They replied that I was only getting one piece (I usually get two) and, they didn’t come right out and say $50 limit but that was the most expensive one they’d agree to, citing budget cuts.
Just thought you’d like to know, and maybe give others a heads up.

If I could give you my review spot I would. But hopefully it turns around soon.
