I just picked up a lost vape Therion BF on the classifieds. Super excited to get it.

congratulations! I was looking at that but decided I wanted a Topside more. But it looks in beautiful condition!

Yes, it looks like new from what I could see. I already have one Therion. This one is nicer than the last one I bought on the classifieds. I also picked up a topside 90 in silver from the same guy when I bought the first one.

Good to hear. Nice looking too.

    Major want
One negative though...I hate this damn battery cap. I hate all these screw caps actually. This one has a very fine thread...and you know what that means
Its ok though...I take it for what it is. There's enough positives to the mod itself to negate the cap :D
    Definitely worth the buy.

I know what you mean about screw cap battery doors but I kind of like them because they don't have moving parts or magnets - so can't fail. They also can't tear battery wraps like some battery doors.

My BXR Stormtrooper version (bought it from 3fvape) is :
2022-08-05 13:53 DONGGUAN EMS, CHINA, Cleared and awaiting international departure

Could be waiting weeks for take-off

I had a few bucks left on an FT gift certificate so today I ordered a translucent door. I reckon it'll arrive a few weeks before the mod.

Do you have any extras you would be willing to sell TD? I am down to one pink and 2 golds and my daily driver, rotten metal. I can't bring myself to use the gold ones
Sorry I don't have any extras, but if you want to cover the mailing cost I'll gladly send you my raw version. It's been sitting in a box for quite a while and doesn't see much use these days. I only dug it out for the picture after I read your post. ;)

I'm moving at the end of the month so things are a little hectic right now, if you message me your mailing address I'll get a price for postage.

Somehow I forgot you were in Canada. I will pass but I thank you. Generous of you to offer to part with it. They are fab mods.
I am going to try to figure out how to get the gold paint off the two new ones I have

Not a problem, if you ever change your mind it will be here in a box.

You might want to try a paint/varnish stripper, I had excellent results removing the paint from my Hohm Tech Slice with that. I removed the electronics, screen and other plastic parts before I started the stripping process. This might be a little harder on the Minikin as it has a touch screen.

Coarse steel wool will remove paint but you need to use finer wool afterwards to remove the scratches from the coarse stuff. It will also leave a fine dust that needs to be cleaned up from the mod and that stuff sticks to any magnet, so tape them over first.

I'd take them over to a car/motorcycle detail shop and ask for advice.

Oh wow. Sounds harder than I thought. If I left the scratches from the coarse wool, I would have another rotten metal one. I might try the varnish stripper in small amounts. It could not look any worse than it does gold

    Yeah you're right, the door isn't a big deal....really.
I love the texture of the PET. Its 'inviting' to hold. All my mods are icy cold...exept the BXR on this wintery morning :D
I dug out my old Boxxer clone that I haven't used for don't know how long. Can't even remember why I put it away. Remember something about excessive leaking....will see when I take it out.
But man, I love this thing. It makes massive flavor.
Wish I could get a new one...the V2 for a decent price

You've got me thinking about the Boxxer clone now. Because it's an rdta you can't lie your device down or it'll flood the deck. I also remember a hack where I put a strip of plumber's tape around the seam where the top section joins the main body of the tank.
I remember the awesome flavour too.
Might dig mine out later today.

@charlie1465 is the only person I know who has a V2. Wish they'd cloned that version.

Well, surprisingly it don't leak that much...this time round. The leaking is about on par with the regular boro RBAs..they all leak.
I'm trying out what I heard Mark Todd mention on a review...about lessening condensation. After letting the power button go during a vape, keep on drawing for a second or two...so as to remove all left over vapor. Not sure if its that, but its leaking significantly less than I remember.

Don't agree about leaking. I get a bit of condensation from most but rarely ever had a leak. Orbit the worst. Qbix never.
That Todd thing is true but if you draw a whole lot of air in after the vape, flavour is diminished. I'd prefer to live with the odd drop of condensation.

Yeah I kinda generalized about the "leaking"...some leak juice, and some leave some wetness from condensation.
This Boxxer makes so much flavor, I can afford to loose some :p:D
Nah just joking...it feels weird to vape like that. Not something I can get used to.
I wish I could like the Qbix as much as you. I try it from time to time, but can't seem to like it.... loud airflow (Darth Vader like), and I don't get good flavor from it.

There's a reason we all like different things. Otherwise we'd all be wearing helmets, vaping our MTL Brunhilde rtas and the vape gods (and Dan) would be laughing their heads off at us.

For me the Qbix is bullet-proof rba perfection. But I'm running different coils in it than you do, different wattage and I inhale funny.
