Being 100 with you... when I initially looked for the group the first several (like every single one) looked like they had something to do with the Top Gun movie and/or Tom Cruise.
And to be brutally honest with you, I can't stand Tom Cruise and thought the movie was really dumb.
Soooooo... when I was searching, I blew by everything that looked like TC and/or TG. I very likely blew right past those groups.

Back in '86 we left the movie theater about a quarter of the way into the original Top Gun movie. We were, ummm, sooooo very bored. I've never understood the 'hype' around Tommy boy.
I've refused to watch a movie with Tommy boy ever since. He is an 'F' actor (being kind) compared to the likes of a Sir Anthony Hopkins (one of my favs). The comparison isn't even fair, but well deserved, cuz it highlights the superior actor.
Not a big Tom Cruise fan, I can take him or leave him. That being said I thought Top Gun Maverick was a good movie.
I'm not a lover or a hater when it comes to him. I haven't seen the new movie and really don't care if I do. My wife loves the first one but once seeing it was enough for me.

The creators of the groups were given nicknames in a different coil building group. Maverick, Goose, and Wolfman
And not long after Topgun was created. So Tom Cruise eat your heart out
Once I became the Moderator I was then given a nickname myself!! They call me Slider
And the other moderator is nicknamed Cyclone
and you'll know why when you see his clouds @ 700 watts
Quick pop in to say hi,pops had a bad day so i stayed a while longer at the hospital (11:17 pm here at the moment)
Still using the iTank and still not a fan of the twisty top,I'll use it until i find something better.
Maybe if I'm lucky Voopoo will send me a MAAT tank for review,been wanting to try that one out,would go with Freemax but still....you can't get coils here in Spain which is a bummer.
Checking some vaping sites and i saw this:
Anyone seen this brand before? just asking because it's like 420 euros,ouch!!
On a different subject i am severely disappointed in the lack of love my beloved Tom Cruise is getting.
I'm a huge fan,from his stuff in the 80's (Top Gun,Rain Man,Cocktail,Born on the Fourth of July,Color of money),then more great movies in the 90's (Days of Thunder,Far and Away,Few Good Men,Interview with a Vampire,Jerry Maguire).
The 2000's weren't that good but it did give us The Last Samurai (love that movie) and who can forget his comedic role in Tropic Thunder.
Mission Impossible movies i am not a fan of but you cannot deny his commitment to the craft,while a lot of actors use stunt doubles he goes the extra mile to pull off crazy stunts.
Sure wished he dabbled a bit more in comedy,judging from his role in Tropic Thunder he does have the talent for it,well anyway that is just my opinion.
By the way i have probably watched Top Gun like 30 times and Top Gun Maverick only 3 times so far but yeah it was an awesome movie.
No political agenda,no wokeness crammed down our throats just a good blockbuster movie you can enjoy,sometimes that is all you want.
Off to bed,pops has some tests to get done early at 8 am and my back is killing me from those awful chairs at the hospital,talk to you guys soon.
