    Somewhere between here and there
Have you been able to upload your pictures yet?
Yes, I haven’t had any problems posting pictures. I have some review samples that aren’t released yet and am not allowed to post pictures before the release.

Do you have eyes on any cool vape gear of interest?
    Hey SMT!
    I'm loving my new BXR.
Also got an SXK version of the Protocol (PRC) Ion Box on the way. It's a very small single 18650 boro device that has back and front af slots. According to reviews I've read, this reduces condensation to almost none. We'll see.

EDIT They must have stolen Fred's idea:w00t:

I've noted Shiny purchases have slowed down across the board. I think it was @Fredman1 who recently said we're more "discriminating" with our vape purchases these days. I agree, he's a very wise man that Fred. :w00t:
Nah Bro that wasn't me, but I certainly am "discriminating" against myself. I only buy when something Really speaks to me.
When I think of how many times I fell on my ... buying wrong vape gear, I feel anything but "wise".
One thing I am Very interested in, is the Protocol Ion Box that @Pigs (the Wizard of Sydney) is talking about. I'll hang on forking out all that money....till he puts it through its paces though....:bluewink:

I went with the sevo 70 version for USD $94. I missed out on the super deals on the DNA 60 version (got as low as 129 bucks with codes) so would have had to pay USD $159 to get one of those. I'm ok with the sevo for the way I vape but you're right - still expensive -nearly twice the cost of the BXR.

I was persuaded by reading @Technonut 's review:

He talks about his DNA 60 version here but the build quality of SXK mods is the same regardless of choice of board.

Actually, I wouldn't have mind forking out the money, if I didn't have the BXR already.
I wonder how it compares size wise to the BXR...I love small ones. If its similar in size, i'll stay with the BXR.
I can still make a slot in the BXR....actually two little slots, with the wire in the middle
Here's a pic I just took now...also been using it for a few days now....3 or 4 refills...zero condensation or juice leak.

Sounds like you don't need to drill more af slots. You've nailed the condensation issue with your back hole.
Even stock, the BXR builds up much less condensation than a BB or a delro.

I should have the Ion Box by Tuesday at the latest. Even tomorrow is a possibility. Will take size comparison photos when it gets here.

ugghh..I cleaned up and started using something that has been sitting on my desk for over a year, unused. The OG Dotmod. My old brain cannot remember how to adjust the power. I know you take off the cover and hit the little button below the power button, but which one is high? Fully lit up?

Nice, very nice. I'm in the Mad Beards Mods (Onegin) group. Being out of Russia, I'm not sure if Anton managed to get shipping and taking payments working again. Their business took a huge hit after sanctions took hold. Anton and his partner have been very vocal in their support for Ukraine. You can 'feel' their anti Putin sentiments. They make their anti war stances very loud and clear.

I've had my eyes on a Onegin M mech sqounker ever since he released them. I'll have to send Anton a message to see if they're able to take orders again.

I'm guessing you are a member of the Highend Squonker Treasure Trove FB group??? Squonker's and RDA's get listed there all the time. Gotta be quick though. I can send you an invite or you can make the request if you aren't already in the group.

There is another squonk group, can't recall the name atm, where some very nice mech squonker's and hard to find RDA's get listed. I'll have to check my FB for that one.
I’m pretty sure they found a loophole to resume shipping. It’s a great little mod, super tiny, and very well thought out. Yes, I’m in that group and some very nice stuff for sale in there. I’ve spent so much last week or so I probably need to stay off FB. More pic coming when everything arrives.

    My pleasure Mate
The creators of the groups were given nicknames in a different coil building group. Maverick, Goose, and Wolfman:cool: And not long after Topgun was created. So Tom Cruise eat your heart out:w00t:
Once I became the Moderator I was then given a nickname myself!! They call me Slider;)
And the other moderator is nicknamed Cyclone:eek: and you'll know why when you see his clouds @ 700 wattso_O
Massive clouds blown in the shots fired posts. Those guys use some huge mods and tanks

I'm patiently waiting for Krönig Mods next drop for their 21700 KrönigBox mech squonker.

Love my 18650 version, but would like the 21700 vsn to complete the family.

18650 KrönigBox and FLVR RDA = total vaping bliss. :w00t:

They do drops every 4-6 months, so it should be soon.
    That’s a good looking mod

Don't be giving Daniel any ideas!!! Those folks blow some serious CLOUD. I am not in their league, not even close. My cloudage is more like, ummm, a <poof>. If I popped a video up there they would likely give me the old 'heave ho'. For sure, I would get some good laughs though and it might be worth it just for that. :w00t:

ETA: Although, I do have a very nice cloudmaker, a 25mm Unicorn RDA that easily takes dual coil setups. Might have to set that up and practice my cloud chuckin' abilities. :2cool:

Hence why I haven’t done any shots fired posts. My rdl single coil flavor setups would look like a 6watt mtl puff compared to those guys lol. I do have a Kennedy 24 put up but I still don’t think I could manufacture that kinda cloudage lol

Interested in seeing it pigs. The authentic is still like the holy grail in the boro world. I’ve seen PRC have 5 to 10 devices up for a randomizer. They have to pull the post in like 30 minutes with over a thousand entries. Maybe SXK cloned one of the later models with the updated top slide section. PRC had some serious issues with it in the early days.

I guess this could fall under Shiny or Stocking Up, but feels more like a Shiny even though I wasn't really looking for it.

I stopped at this one store that is a little farther out than my typical travels take me to see if they had any new RTA stock since my last visit a couple of months ago. They didn't.
They also carry some mechs which is a rarity any more in my parts, so I was browsing at those and chatting with one of the guys there.
They have a few Purge mods and there were some little red pouches with them and then I noticed a black one.
    528 Custom Vapes Goon.
I've heard a lot about the Goons and figured I'd missed the boat so I asked if that really was a Goon in there. He said he wasn't sure what was in there, and then took it out to see.
    It was a Goon, a v1.5.
I remember seeing somewhere that some versions are considered better than others and couldn't remember which was which but I grabbed it anyway.
I think from looking online at pics when I got home that it should have had a bag of spares, but there were none in the pouch.
I'm not up to speed with RDAs so I imagine there are many better ones out there now but I'm happy that I found this one.

The Goon’s popularity and almost cult like following was due to its deck design. Massive coils could be fit in the clamps. The exotic coil builders realized this and used them in their Instagram photos and build photo competitions. It’s still a great atty when built right. If you haven’t figured it out yet may I suggest lifting the coils up to where when looking from the side in the airflow slit you’re only seeing the bottom third of the coil. Excellent flavor and all around excellent dual rda.

From what I've seen and read, with the SXK clone there's still an interaction between the battery cap and the flush nut. They say to make sure to loosen the flush nut when opening the battery door and tighten it down again when the new battery's in and door closed. If you don't get that right there can be connection problems. We'll see.
The top slide section/battery cap looks like the newer PRC authentic versions.

Thank you for that info and the coil placement tip!

I haven't tried my Goon yet, but that placement is about where I've been running the Glok 24 which seems to be very similar to the Goon 1.5.

I've got the condensation under control with the Bishop 3 under control yes...because of the back airflow inlet.
Problem is when I will use bottom air inlet boros, it will/might still build up condensation.
This is the Sevo 70 Delro. I drilled holes, but still need to micro saw and file the slot. The holes so far has stopped the condensation to.
