Okay, I just found a way where we can vote 10x per day !!!

    How???

I disabled my home WiFi network on my smartphone.

Then I was able to vote 5 more times using my carrier (Verizon).

I kinda figured that would work. Their site prevents you from voting more than 5x using the same network.

Ha !!! 189 votes so far.
Awesome catch! I’ll go try it.

The reason this works is because their website prevents a MAC address from voting more than 5x. A MAC address is a hardware identification number that uniquely identifies each device on a network.

Your home WiFi (your router) has it's own MAC address that is used for all devices on your network.

When you temporarily disable your home WiFi from your smartphone, or cellular equipped pad, it grabs a MAC address from your carrier. And those are dynamic.

So, if I were to hop in my car, or walk, to the next cell tower and flip my smartphone on I would then be given a new MAC address and would be able to vote another 5x. When I return home I should be able to turn on my smartphone, dynamically be given a new MAC addr and then vote another 5x.

I suspect this is how certain photos are getting the numbers they are.

We now have the capability to increase @AngeNZ's votes, Big Time.

ETA: fixed a tiny error, lol

I agree, some of the lesser pics with huge voting numbers are doing it via spoofing their mac addresses and who knows what else :D And some photographers like #194 are professionals with a huge and well deserved following on IG etc.

It's mentioned in the rules that Aspire will cancel any qualified pics if the winner uses cheating or illegal methods. So some of those high number vote entries may disappear.

But whatever happens, I'm so touched and grateful for all the effort you guys are putting in

I was able to turn off the Wi-Fi and do 5 more. The airplane mode thing didn’t work though.
Airplane mode worked for me twice at home and then didn't. I gave up.

I'm not very well versed with cellular networks. It's my understanding that if there is more than one carrier tower (base station) nearby, same carrier, a cell phone could link up with either tower depending on signal strength. I am nearly in the center between two Verizon towers. That would explain, to me, how I was able to do it twice.

Typically a cell phone will connect to the tower with the strongest signal. Cell phones can connect to a tower that's up to 22 miles away (and in some cases further).

While I'm on signal strength most people don't know that they should be taking their SIM cards out to clean them every so often. Dust does get into our phones and absolutely affects signal strength. Keeping the card clean will help improve signal strength.

On the data side, cell towers these days are mostly connected to very high speed fiber networks for user data (internet). User data is then routed off to who evers data center and then on out to the internet.

    Fun stuff !!!

Multiple fiber providers to most cell towers too.
Cellular back haul over fiber sucks in storm season. Especially when theres a 4 or less hour sla on restoration.

FWIW, all airplane mode does is turn off a cell phones ability to connect to cellular networks, turns off Bluetooth and WiFi. IOW, all RF gets turned off.

Which BTW can be very useful if you are trying to save battery juice. WiFi, Bluetooth and cellular suck a lot of battery juice.

There is another good use for AM. Pop a phone into airplane mode and you'll notice it charge faster. That works well when you are in a pinch and need to boost your battery quickly.

If you have a VPN, you can vote each time you connect to a different server.

Whoops--I was wrong about this. I thought I could vote a second time because I was logged in to a different server; in fact, it was because I was in a different browser.

At least, I think that's why. Who knows? I wouldn't take my word for anything.

@Fredman1 is the Cloud rba still the bees knees? I've got a Mobb v2 rba in the cart, but I haven't heard much about it yet either.
Hell Yeah...the two knees of the bee for me, is the Cloud and the Bishop 3 ;)
But the Bishop needs a back air inlet hole to operate best.

The SXK PRC IONBOX arrived on Friday. Been testing it over the weekend. So far, so good.
QC really excellent. No flaws or machining marks on the aluminium, no button rattle and the door fits tight. I also bought a smoked black door but it isn't quite as snug.
I noticed the puff counter was up to 0015 which means they're testing the board in the mod . Like that.
The design is good for thumb or finger fire.

Quick pop in to say hi.
Kinda missed all this photo frenzy, just found out yesterday but truth be told i haven't browsed the forums much lately.
@AngeNZ i voted yesterday 5 times and another 5 times just now,you sitting at 292 at the moment.

Since now all i vape is with sub-ohm tanks (only drop in coils) i was checking out the Hellbeast 2 but i just realized it has that same rubbery gasket that the QR design MR RTA had where the filling ports were so meh...kinda iffy on getting the Hellbeast 2.

Might give Maat Tank by Voopoo a try or maybe i will throw caution to the wind and get the Hellbeast 2,will have to sleep on it.

Pops doing better,if we're lucky i will be able to bring him home on thursday, they still got some tests to run on him to make sure he is ok.

    Anyway,hope y'all have a nice day :)

The MAAT tank and coils have actually been quite decent to my surprise. The only time it's leaked is when I've left it in my car during work and it probably hit 130-140 F in there. The flavor output is worlds apart from the old PnP coils they first were using in the Drag X Plus and Pro.
