I don't drink very often but had some the other night and ordered the Ultroner from ecigone. I wonder if I would have ordered it if I hadn't had a couple drinks.
I take pains meds which keep me awake then I buy stabwood mods I can’t afford lol!!! PLus other “stuff” lol so be glad you’re not on night time pain management . I wished you lived here. I’ve got lots of mods I know you’d like!!

An Oxva velocity le from SM for photography/review. Bit hesitant about the review part, so I'll see how it goes.

And after 4 years of using 18650 batteries, I finally got round to buying an 18650 torch
I have a slew of those flashlights in all different makes and models. I LOVE them. They are great for traipsing around in the night (as I sometimes do while doing TNR work) I think I have one in every room of my home and in the car

I have 3 or 4 now and they are perfect for taking my Yorkies out to check for coyotes. I follow 2 feet behind her and the yard is fenced in but they still are around. My neighbors watch camera picked a couple up in their driveway.
I got an instant rash just looking at it all. I would have nightmares if it was in my house
lol! That’s the issue! I’m SUPER SUPER organized and anxious and this IS giving me rashes in areas I won’t say lol!! So what are you doing tomorrow. We can turn the football game on. I’m paralyzed with just starting it all plus I know it’s going to trigger a huge flare from getting up and down. I’ll buy pizza too lol!!

The key for those of us who have ordered far more than we will ever need is to box it up. A bookcase filled with closed cardboard boxes, as well as a bunch under tables and in corners, is far less stressful, for a while.:)

As long as nobody reports us to Hoarders, it's all good.

Well to be honest I’ve only used rayon however I have been thinnning it out a bit so I don’t distort the coil. I used to do that religiously when I was making my own single coils. I’d put a finger nail in a space (i space all my coils) but I haven’t felt the need because these thicker Ni80 coils don’t seem to distort when I’m watch YouTube videos. They pull them right through the coil with out any effort.
Try wicking without thinning anything from the center of the rayon. Perhaps you are thinning too much and the rayon is not as tight in the coil as it should be. If you thin too much your wick will contract more than it should and that could be the reason for them frying in the center.

If the folks on YT are pulling their rayon wicks through their coils freely, they are not using enough rayon. Rayon should not freely move through a coil. It needs to be tighter than you think.

See the official rayon thread, everything I've posted can be found there.

The wick you posted a photo of looks like it's burnt in the center. Try more rayon.

@Fidola13

Per Jeremy the rayon expert...

So how dense does it need to be?

- fairly snug to where you can hardly pull it through anymore without finagling. The coil should be pulling its so snug.

- there is a distinct squeak type vibration that can be felt and heard while pulling the fiber through the coil when its getting tight enough. I usually shift it side to side to hear the squeak

- it will look huge at first, but after it settles it should have shoulders just at or above the OD of the coil.

- being able to run the rayon wick dry without tc is a sign your density is good.

- using too much causes muted flavor and excess gunking, but amazingly vapes when super tight without burning the fiber like cotton.

- there is a sweet spot where the flavor pops on the first vape perfectly. Thus is harder to achieve, its recommended to have a slight break-in of muted vapes to ensure you are dense enough.

- its better to be too tight, than too loose. The longer the break-in period the more over density you've gone. Use a little less next time.

I’d love to see them I’m sure. I don’t have many higher end mods.

@Fidola13, the density of your rayon wick is not consistent. It's thicker on the right versus the left, both in the coil, each shoulder and tail.

    This photo highlights it better...

Your wick needs to be the same density end-to-end in the coil.

If your rayon wick had the same density end-to-end you would experience better results.

    :)

I need to pay more attention. Maybe it’s just happening with dual coils and not single because this one looks great imo lol! View attachment 982109View attachment 982110View attachment 982111View attachment 982112
I'm not sure if you forgot to mention this or it has slipped your mind from using spaces coils for so long, but when you go from a spaced coil to a coil with wraps that are touching, remember to strum and check for hot spots. Also check the inside of the coil as well. A single hot spot will surely lead to burning.

The you tubers like mike and Daniel etc are using cotton actually but I can try this approach anyways. Youd think I was a beginner again lol! Thanks for the suggestions SMT

And mom would be sooo right? But there’s no understanding how much someone enjoys a hobby that was once used to break an addiction to cigarettes. Yuk. Just the smell make me gag!
