You did an excellent job customizing your Mixx. I like it. Might have to do that with one of mine.Good morning ladies & gentlemans,
We probably think in the same direction, atty came from this mod:

I really have no interest in different coils for that tank. I just bought ten more boxes of GTi coils and plan on sticking with those. It’s good information though. Thanks for sharing.Quick pop in to tag @hittman and @Frenkyou
I've been using the Hellbeast 2 as my daily tank for 2 months now,the other day in Reddit i was talking to a cool dude from Ireland and he told me that you can also use the Uwell Crown 5 coils with the Hellbeast 2 sub-ohm tank.
Looked at the pics of the coils and judging by the size and shape it might be true, never tried any Uwell coils so i might get some on my next online order.
Know both of you reviewed the tank so dropping the info just in case you want to try it out.
cheers
Very nice work mate. I'm gonna set up mine in a similar way.
Go for it mates,You did an excellent job customizing your Mixx. I like it. Might have to do that with one of mine.![]()
It's always good when it gets through the customs authorities, let's hope they don't charge a large sum.Looks like my Ether boro kit finally made it out of customs. Might have it by end of this coming week.
Tor did you also file the lip off the inside rim of the atty frame so that the battery tube fits through?Good morning ladies & gentlemans,

In the US, aren't there different VAT fees from state to state?
Good question T. Earlier I tried to slide the battery tube through the atty frame and very quickly discovered that lip.Tor did you also file the lip off the inside rim of the atty frame so that the battery tube fits through?

Yes, but I have a fancy Foredom with burrs, but a round file will do the job with patience, only the lip has to go.Good question T. Earlier I tried to slide the battery tube through the atty frame and very quickly discovered that lip.

That part is aluminum. if I were to do it again, I would probably have used a round file, one has more control with it compared to using a power tool.
I was totally hooked on Mixx when they came out, but after I bought Dicode's SBS, Mixx became uninteresting.
After I started modding them, really just because I was bored, when the battery tube part came down I liked the Mixx better ergonomically, and I think the battery cap makes the mod more elegant.
PS, remember to round the inside corners after you have filed down the battery cap, because the edges will be very sharp.
Good luck with the modification mate. Thanks for the tips Tor!!!
