I really have no interest in different coils for that tank. I just bought ten more boxes of GTi coils and plan on sticking with those. It’s good information though. Thanks for sharing.

It is not very difficult to take the battery cap, flat file on a table, and the battery cap in your fingers, and then just move it roughly evenly.
But it is not certain that you need to do that, Mixx's battery cap is M20 x 1.00. Many other mods use the same dimensions and thread profile.
My two Jet Blacks are also being modified, the only negative thing about using fine sandpaper is that nothing is needed for them to be scratched up in use
Looks like my Ether boro kit finally made it out of customs. Might have it by end of this coming week.

Tor did you also file the lip off the inside rim of the atty frame so that the battery tube fits through?
I've never been charged customs fees for any vape gear.
Yes, each state has it's own taxes (VAT). I don't know of anyone who's had to pay a tax for their vape gear when it came from outside the US.

Yes, but I have a fancy Foredom with burrs, but a round file will do the job with patience, only the lip has to go.
That part is aluminum. if I were to do it again, I would probably have used a round file, one has more control with it compared to using a power tool.
I was totally hooked on Mixx when they came out, but after I bought Dicode's SBS, Mixx became uninteresting.
After I started modding them, really just because I was bored, when the battery tube part came down I liked the Mixx better ergonomically, and I think the battery cap makes the mod more elegant.
PS, remember to round the inside corners after you have filed down the battery cap, because the edges will be very sharp.

Round file, in this case bigger is better than a small file, easier to get roundness.
The lip has a diameter of 21mm, the battery tube is 22mm, so it is not a big job before success.
