Hey shinies, happy Saturday! It's been a while  Hope everyone is safe and well. I stocked up on a load of mechanicals over the years and as a result, haven't had the need to buy any new shiny in ages. No new gear means no fire under my (censored?) to take pics to spam on the forum. Oh well.

Lately, I've been eyeing up the bottles of VG, PG and nic that have been collecting dust in the back of my vape cupboard from when I overreacted to the impending "juice-pocalypse" a while back. I should really do something with them but as some of you may remember, I'm a complete DIY n00b/procrastinator. I'm going to start simple and what I really need is some flavor advice. Can any of you veteran DIY shinies recommend a fresh style strawberry, a natural vanilla and/or a cream style flavor? What are your go-tos? Any help would be much appreciated.

I offer a festive sheepdoggo as compensation.

I posted yet another review in a long line. The Lightsaber is called a pod mod but there is a 510 adapter available for purchase separately. Would have been nice if they included it in the kit.

I’m glad I’m not doing reviews. Seems mostly pod mods from all the reviewers even on YouTube. I’m not a fan of pods. Just not my vaping style. But options for different styles of vaping is great to have.

The nice thing about the LIghtsaber is you can get a 510 adapter for it. However, you have to like tube mods to like this one. Dovpo is always very generous with samples and sent the 510 adapter kit that has three different size top rings so you can use different sized tanks from 22 to 26mm. I agree there have been a lot of pods. I keep hoping that things will return back to mods. I did get the Tomahawk mod from Dovpo for review. It's a nice SBS mod that comes with a squonk tank. I'm waiting for more information to become available on it before writing my review on it since it was sent in a plastic bag with no box, no user manual, and no accessories.

Well, where do i start, i was an avid fiend for vape gear around 2014 - 2018, i stopped and sold all my gear, I had a few dicodes stab wood mods, £429 a piece, numerous RTA’s Tilemahos, doggystyle 2k16, hussars with all the add ons, skyline, kayfuns, rose 3, squapes, taifuns, my collection was literally the dogs, I’m now on to pods, i completely fell out of the vaping world, and now I’m back, and have nothing high end to my name, thinking of grabbing a Taifun GT one as it’s cheap, and a “dicodes” mimic, aspire zellon, to start myself off back in to the world
My minds still stuck in 2016 vape gear, no idea what’s good at the moment, but don’t wanna spend too much as christmas has rattled me, but my shinyitus is tingling, £200 should be a good starting price for some gear

There’s a lot of good gear available and you don’t have to spend a lot to get it depending on what kind of form factor you like.

Is the Narda + Armor mods RDA still a thing? They were awsome little bits of kit in their day

The OG NarDA is no longer made but they are still very highly sought after. They came out with newer RDA's and RTA's since the NarDA. An OG NarDA recently sold in one of the Facebook BST groups I'm in for $420 with 3 custom top caps and DT's.

The OG Armor RDA's are also highly sought after and very difficult to find. If found they are pricey.

From my experience older high-end gear, in excellent condition, is selling for near retail prices. In some cases gear does appreciate in value. On rare occasion I'll see someone selling something for cheap. But one needs to move very quickly or - POOF - gone.

The high-end market is very much alive, well and thriving. Not so much on ECF when compared to a couple of the other forums and the FB BST groups.

On the budget, I would choose a cheap mod, and invest more heavily on the rta.
If you love TC, maybe Dicodes mod is one choice later down the road.

As you can see, SMT is the one that knows about the high end stuff. About the highest I go is some DNA mods.
