But I always loved the Taifuns and that is how I learned to build. Maybe 2013 ish

Good afternoon this cold cold day! Our front door just froze shut! Haha haha
However, thank goodness I still have power, not everyone in my area can say that.
I just wanted to pop in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Still pretty frigid here but at least we’re on the positive side of the thermometer instead of underneath like this morning.
We've gone the other direction. Around 3 am I think? (Maybe a touch earlier) we were still around 20° or so, but when the temperature dropped it dropped within the span of a half hour to 7°F, and it's been dropping much slower but steadily since.
Right now at 4pm, we are exactly at 0°F - not including the wind chill and the wind is what's blowing over trees and knocking down limbs, creating all the power outages.
I stepped outside on the deck at what is usually the warmest part of the day wearing high end, merino wool, knee high ski socks, regular shoes (not slippers), jeans, a long sleeve shirt with a heavy weight long sleeve sweatshirt over the top of that and the wind was cutting straight through me to the point I didn't last a full 60 seconds - I may as well have been naked for all the good those clothes did me.
And we are in a hollow protected from the wind! I can't even imagine what the ridge lines are like today! There's only the trees for protection there! We at least have two mountain sides...
The cold is just plain dangerous right now - they have opened up a bunch and started advertising where people can go to shelter from the weather, especially those without power or heating oil tonight.

In the winter I can tell the temperature by how frozen shut my sliding front is, so you have my condolences! Merry Christmas to you too, I hope 2023 bring even more improvement to your health

My health is actually doing SO well right now. I've lost 25 pounds now, and I'm just doing SO much better these days!
If this continues I might become - normal! Hahaha
I saw on the news yesterday that the city is running buses around to pick up homeless people and take them to shelters.
These are still great mods and atomizers. One might consider them outdated, but I have yet to find a better tasting coil than the 904L X2 coil meant for the Firelukes (other than the Fireluke Solo).

"Find what you like and stay with it" I was told by a wise person in another thread some 5-6 years ago when I expressed worry over my need for Shinyitis ever diminishing.
Mt latest of the Freemax's is the Maxluke but I have had them all and have many of the tanks and coils in storage.
