So my main question when I see them taking up the absolutely failed American model would be who is going to benefit and what are their connections to those that are making these decisions? In the United States it's multifaceted obviously there's many many people that benefit from combustible tobacco causing slow death. There's many states that benefit directly from the sales of cigarettes most of the antis benefit directly from the sales of cigarettes. Who benefits in the increasing of the numbers of people smoking? Because in the United States that's exactly what happened for the first time in decades smoking is on the rise. I really hope that the Australians are able to do something about it.
Its a political knee-jerk reaction here. More and more our decisions are based on following the American path. Nothing to do with public health. Australia's vulnerable security position in the region means that Geo-politics and miliary alliances write the rules. Our leaders see benefits in following flawed, failed models as long as we please our Big Brother.

Not really difficult for them to get rid of disposables, it is not for any of the nations, it is just to introduce a law that says that prefilled gadget & tank & cartridge, is illegal to import & sell.
Then you have taken away the classic disposables.

Good morning Shiny's

While not a fan of disposables in general I do believe they are a big draw for many adult smokers. Whether actually leading very busy lives or just plain lazy too many would revert back to smoking simply because the sheer ease of use that disposables provides was taken away.

I've no issue with disposables. My only thing is that they get recycled. Provided the manufacturers are using recyclable plastics. If they aren't then governments should "correct" that.

The government here (USA) has only approved closed pod-like devices. That isn't going to change anytime soon.

Like Letitia said, we wouldn't want disposables taken off the market so that folks go back to smoking.

About the whole disposable thing there was a recent study done here in Spain.
Said study showed that abut 65% of the users of disposable vape devices were using them as a tool to stop smoking, other 35% just kids after the nicotine buzz.
In that 65% they also included dual users, not as cigarettes and vaping but dual users as in a proper mod to use at home for example and then a disposable when at work or just out and about.

I don't consider myself Mother Theresa but i have helped a few get off the stinkies and one current trend i have noticed is that people who want to quit smoking want SIMPLICITY.
If they need a disposable to use for a couple of months be it,then they can go further down the rabbit hole and upgrade into a pod like device but people tend to get stressed if they start with a full mod/tank combo type of thing.
Even if its a simple plug in coil type of tank there is still a lot for them to learn and do compared to just opening a box, ripping the plastic, remove the top and start vaping.
All the hassle of a proper mod/tank combo added to the stress of quitting is sometimes way too much,so yeah i find that disposables to start with isn't a bad thing.

Recycling well there herein lies the main issue, time will tell if the companies steer towards disposables that can be properly recycled.
Even small steps like offering 2 bucks off a new disposable if you turn in the one that is already battery drained and/or e-liquid empty.
Something like that could encourage people to properly dispose of well you know the disposable.

On other news, don't know if any Thelema Solo fans around but i just saw these:

These are a Limited Edition, now i know they can look a bit corny but they do give kinda a 80's retro gaming look don't they?
Anyway, thought i would post it in case any collectors around missed seeing them.

Got a shipping number from my vpro and an email about it. They've notified UPS that a shipment should be occurring so I'm pretty happy about that. What's weird though is that it says it's a partial shipment however on the list of things that are being shipped in this shipment is literally everything I ordered. I guess I'll see when I get it and I'm sure they'll refund whatever might be missing if anything lol
My email from them said partial shipment but the whole order shipped.

    Somewhere between here and there
I’ve been spending like crazy the last couple months on vaping hardware and really need to cool it for a while. I did preorder the Meson so have that to look forward to. I have more than I can ever use but the shinyitis got a grip on me. I also have another Sunbox, a second Thelema dna100 and a unibox on the way. Oh, and a second vi class that should be here soon.

I've not purchased any vape gear since this last October. I continue pulling out gear I haven't used in a while, and for me - - - it's new all over again.

The only gear I'm looking forward to is the new Ennequadro Flexy v2 SBS. Still waiting for Giorgio to release photos and info. Hopefully he releases a mech version.

I will also have a break for a few months, this autumn has been hot for the visa card.

The only thing that can make me draw the card is an rba that appears on the fb list once a month, I put myself on it and hope that I will be drawn.

Just an atty coming, a soldering station, and two mods who are abroad for repairs.
One is at dicodes, so maybe I'll buy some extreme chipsets when it's been repaired.

Maybe they look better in reality than what the picture says, remind me more of lego bricks.
Those who are good at putting together matching atty's and drip tips can maybe make these mods look cool, I don't have those qualities anyway.

I can see lego's in those mods. Looks like they were designed by a 12 year old during the Bring Your Kid To Work Day.

I wouldn't say I've been spending like crazy but something got a hold of me and made me make another order. I hadn't ordered anything other than e-juice in like months I feel like it's almost been a year whenever it was that I bought the last thing from the classified lol.

This is one of the best dual coil attys I own for flavor, and it's top airflow which makes it a pure win!

Make sure to build for dual coil. I went single coil to begin with, was not impressed, so sidelined it for 5-6 months. Got bored one day and rebuilt it dual coil and that was an eye-opener for me as to how much chamber space effects flavor output.
This is the single coil version for MTL and RDL. Built a 2mm Iø coil and it rock so far.
