About the whole disposable thing there was a recent study done here in Spain.
Said study showed that abut 65% of the users of disposable vape devices were using them as a tool to stop smoking, other 35% just kids after the nicotine buzz.
In that 65% they also included dual users, not as cigarettes and vaping but dual users as in a proper mod to use at home for example and then a disposable when at work or just out and about.
I don't consider myself Mother Theresa but i have helped a few get off the stinkies and one current trend i have noticed is that people who want to quit smoking want SIMPLICITY.
If they need a disposable to use for a couple of months be it,then they can go further down the rabbit hole and upgrade into a pod like device but people tend to get stressed if they start with a full mod/tank combo type of thing.
Even if its a simple plug in coil type of tank there is still a lot for them to learn and do compared to just opening a box, ripping the plastic, remove the top and start vaping.
All the hassle of a proper mod/tank combo added to the stress of quitting is sometimes way too much,so yeah i find that disposables to start with isn't a bad thing.
Recycling well there herein lies the main issue, time will tell if the companies steer towards disposables that can be properly recycled.
Even small steps like offering 2 bucks off a new disposable if you turn in the one that is already battery drained and/or e-liquid empty.
Something like that could encourage people to properly dispose of well you know the disposable.
On other news, don't know if any Thelema Solo fans around but i just saw these:
These are a Limited Edition, now i know they can look a bit corny but they do give kinda a 80's retro gaming look don't they?
Anyway, thought i would post it in case any collectors around missed seeing them.
cheers
