Hey there! Happy to see you and YES you came to mind whilst I was considering that I might have a sensitivity to VG.
I have not broken out in hives either, lol, but do have a lot of coughing going on, for months now.
I see both a pulmonologist and a thoracic surgeon due to a bout with lung cancer 2020/21. (I know I should not even be vaping) I have a CT scan every 6 months to make sure LC does not come back. So both an x-ray and CT scan showed nothing in the last month. Of course, both DR's advised me to quit vaping (yeah right)
For a minute I decided it was all happening because I bought a lesser-quality VG than I normally do. So I tossed it and went back to Nude Nic's VG. Nothing changed. The cough is still there. I am going to mix up some 60/40 (scared) and try to be happy with MTL and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for weighing in and I hope all is well with you.
I share your sensitivity to VG. Anything over 50% VG gives me that heaviness and congestion. I've been mixing 2/3 PG, 1/3 VG(with 15%water) for a number of years as a result. MTL, low wattage, tight airflow.

Another workaround with your existing high VG liquids is to simply puff them like a cigar without inhaling. You'll get most of the nic and can see how your cough and breathing are affected. Good luck sorting this out!

Sub DW 2-5% for the PG. When I started feeling "heavy lung" I added a couple drops to the juice in my tanks and it helped. Now my only pg comes from flavors and base mix is vg + dw 8%.
so you are saying sub distilled water for the PG? I did not think the PG was the problem

I am interested in your mixing suggestion but I am going to PM you for further clarification so as not to bog down the thread

    Somewhere between here and there
So much for my plans today. FedEx here is horrible. The cabinet that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and then today has been pushed back to tomorrow and the ceiling fan I bought yesterday didn’t come with a long enough downrod so had to order one online. Oh well, the Super Bowl will be on soon anyway.

And meanwhile on Shiny news- I ordered two more RBAs. The Tauren Max which I already have in black and a Drop Solo v1.5. I can’t remember if I already have one. Im going to guess probably lol! It’s a single coil RDA which has gotten some decent reviews. Plus it was on sale at Sourcemore for about $13. I’ll let you know what I think of it and whether I’d recommend to others with similar vape habits.

Oh and a couple of replacement squonk bottles for the Vandy Vape Pulse. Another well done and very simple to operate squonker.

I just haven’t seen much that catches my eye. It’s all pods this, pods that or AIOs etc…. I have had no inclination of jumping down that rabbit hole. It doesn’t hold any appeal for me. Is everyone jumping to Boris and pods.

Can anyone suggest a mid to hi end RDA that has great flavor and thick clouds? I vape a somewhat airy full on air to even a loose somewhat restricted RBA. Thanks.

May not be high end, and you might already have one, but I get good clouds and flavor from the Oumier Wasp Nano.

And I should have said that 50/50, my usual mixture, never causes me any issues.
I can't forget the time years ago when i didn't really understand vaping and juices. I wanted to be as natural and organic as I could, as I do with food. So I picked up some really really high VG juice, since it was organic. Two hits on that and I was done with it.

Anyway, it was nice chatting with you for a moment or two. Like the good old days, which I miss.
    Be well Sue.

On the high-end side the Atmizoo Creek RDA. Excellent flavor. Very deep juice well that holds up to 1.2mls. Restricted DL to a nice DL.

It's one of only a few RDA's with airflow from under the coil. For flavor, that is exactly what you want.

Comes with the squonk pin installed (blind pin included). Works great on a squonker, extremely tough to oversquonk due to the design. You won't find another RDA anywhere near the design of the Creek.

FWIW, the Creek has been in my Top 3 RDA's for a few years. I have two. One is always in rotation.

Atmizoo (Greece) ships very quickly via DHL.

Question about the Hastur MTL: coil up or coil down?

I believe my last build in the Hastur was belly up, just parallel to the posts
Either way... you have to put the coil almost center to the posts - legs... so i think it's better the coil on top and then press it down... !?

Thanks for the tips, @easyvape and @TARTARA. A coild has been installed belly up, and all appears to be well.

ETA: Although I wouldn't have bothered with it if I'd known you can't access the deck without emptying the tank. Should've done more homework,

I haven't checked the reviews, but I love the look of the Vaperz Cloud Sith rda.
