I swapped the battery in mine (metal model) a while back and the thin white wire came off when I had to whack it on the workbench to get the battery out. Lucky I guessed right on where to resolder it. Hope yous is ok now. :)
The hardest part of the process for me was removing the battery door. Being able to see through the Ultem to where the wires were tucked in was a big help.

Even so, I videod the disassembly just in case - I've made that mistake before taking apart mods. The need to keep devices as compact as possible means they jam the components in tight and it can be almost impossible to reassemble some.
One reason I like the design of the Stubby is the easy access to the board for maintenance/removal/replacement.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
It's been a hectic few shopping weeks, now there are no packages on the way.
While we wait for DHL to enter US airspace, mine has been given a folder to be in:

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning. UPS delivered a couple new review samples this morning. I received black and yellow versions of the Eleaf iJust P40. Eleaf has been around a long time and it brings back memories doing reviews for them. So far I’ve had no complaints on the products they have had me review. Their stuff seems mostly simple but well made. The GTL coils are pretty good too.

Sounds good, I wish they went back a bit and started with the classic Pico 75 & 21700, and with upgradeable chipset.
They were eventually priced at 20-30$, I think they would still sell heaps of the small mods.

Another timg I have to do, vape up my Unirank, I've overlooked something important, thank goodness Mark Todd has excellent reviews.
That RBA tank is as flawless as it is possible to make, pictures will come later tonight, if I don't get nic shock lol

I'll just see how everything looks tomorrow, I won't put myself on the list, my priority is Skynet, and an expensive rba is more than enough for the month.

I think the reason Eleaf made the new Pico's without the ability to upgrade them is because of the Arctic Fox firmware. My suspicion is that Eleaf did not like the idea of 3rd party firmware running on their products.

Eleaf could have very easily manufactured more of the original Pico 75's and 21700's, if they wanted to.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You may well be right, but, I'm not too sure about that mate.
When I got my first Pico plus which was the start of this, it had a protection to not burn the coil when the user runs out of liquid, it was the standard setup from the factory.
What I think is that much of what they thought at Eleaf was to be able to get the products through the FDA, and something like child protection against unreasonable use is one of the points.

But there is no doubt that Eleaf made a serious mistake by removing the upgradeable chip, we are talking about experienced users in this case, not newbies.
Eleaf had nothing to gain by taking away the possibility of AF, the only thing they achieved was one reduced sale.

DHL tracking still says Monday delivery. I've received packages from DHL on Saturdays but never on a Sunday.

My U-Mods Unitank v2, I thought the only weakness it had was the filling mechanism, that it was easy to pull the chimney off the rba head.
Well I had another look at Mark Todd's video and I've changed my mind after learning more about the tank, it's now in my top three, pretty much perfect design & machine work. It costs €90, so it is certainly not cheap.

When I finally figured out how much force I had to use to separate the top filling and the chimney screw......this is how the parts should be used, and if you ask me, it's a perfect solution Greg made.

What I thought was one part was actually two:
here the chimney screw is in place, but not the filler cap, and, now we see that it is designed to do two things....

Does that tank come with an rba? Is it one where you have to be in a certain FB group to buy it?
