It moves, but not the same way as the up button. I don't have the heart at the moment to test it some more so that I can describe this better.

I bought it in January 2019, so no warranty.

It has been well treated all its life. No leaking attys, no violence.
I have never delved into the menu on the Dani Box, i.e. you may have had some button selection turned off, but I think there is more in SBS that can be done.

If, on the other hand, you have to dismantle the mod a bit, I can console you with the fact that the Dani Box is extremely well designed, 3 Allen screws at the bottom, the bottom plate off, there are two long locking pins that you pull out with wick tools, or a needle.
Then you push a little on the bottom of the board and the top plate starts to lift, and you just pull up the top plate and everything comes out easily.
Dicodes has built the mod module-wise.

I changed parts in mine such that they became stabwood, the first one was of course the worst, the other two were maybe a 10 minute job.

I don't see how i could disable only the down button, but I'll take a closer look at the manual tomorrow. If dismantling is required, however, I am definitely not the person to do it.

I quickly went through the mod settings on my dani mini, I can't see anything we can turn off there.

Don't underestimate yourself Sarah.
I can disassemble one of mine and take pictures of how it is done for you.
Just let me know and I'll send you a PM.

I got a build in the Meson rta tonight. Initial reaction is that flavor is very good and the airflow is really smooth. Not sure if I’ll stick with the drip tip though. It seems a little short for my liking.

Thanks.... That is the info I was waiting to hear. Have you tried that specific build at various wattage? They claim it still has good flavor at 25 or 30 watts instead of having to run it at higher wattage. Of course, some of that would depend upon the coil resistance because 25 watts will hardly warm a large chunky coil with low resistance and so the build would make a difference.

I made a 2.5mm coil from some 316l MTL Clapton wire and it’s reading.44 ohms. I’m running with the airflow about 3/4 closed for RDL at 26 watts. It’s just a little warm. I bumped it up to 30 watts and it’s a little warmer but still good flavor. Normally I run 3mm coils but the manual suggested 2.5mm. Next one I’ll try a 3mm.

Oh Good! ...... Yeah, as you probably have heard, I am desiring to vape at 25 through 35 watts (maybe 40) in order to prolong both battery power as well as juice. I am trying to change my vaping style and am trying to get away from high wattage dual coil atomizers.....I have had trouble deciding on which would be a flavorful, single coil atty among the ones currently out there......

I have had my eye on the Meson for a while now and decided I was going to get one. Now that you have indicated it has good flavor at the wattage you vaped it then that pretty much cements the deal for me. There are other flavorful single coilers out there (such as the Kylin mini 2) but it has finicky wicking and a couple other things I don't like about it. The Meson seems to wick much easier from what I have seen......

Anyway, thanks much for the info and all your efforts. You are a good reviewer and have vaped a long time and I 100% trust your reviews. There are some reviewers out there that I have raised eyebrows about LOL.....

I'm hearing it's quite noisy. It wasn't mentioned what the airflow setting was for that. Do you find it noisy?
I really don’t think it’s noisy. It seems more quiet than the Voltrove I just got. I did switch out the drip tip. The height and shape of the included one wasn’t a good fit for me.

I switched out the drip tip and bumped it up to 31 watts and am very happy with that and the airflow set for RDL.

I am a single coil, 25-30 watt guy these days. Have you tried the aspire Kumo? With a 3mm alien coil at .5-.6 ohm it has replaced all the others.

Nope, but I have done a lot of research on the Kumo...... That also seems like another good one........ Nowadays it is becoming more difficult to choose between atomizers as lots of them are good.....

I started with one and somehow have at least 7. They are perfect for the SBS styles I use everyday.

Believe it or not and as long as I've vaped, I have never owned any side by side mods..... I don't know why but I have just never purchased any.... All of my various regulated mods are either tube mods, or box mods of various sizes (single and dual) My mechs are also all tube.....

Yep, I have read a lot of good things about the Kumo........ 7 of them is a lot......... Well, at least they will last you a lifetime and you won't have to ever worry about being without a good atty :)

I have gathered a lot of boxes and tubes over the years but find the compact size of SBSs perfect for me. I use a double 21700 at home for battery life but out of the house it is always a kumo on a kizoku techmod or dovpo college. Very compact and work in my bags/pockets easily. I use my box mods mainly to replace coils/wicks and dry burn the coils.
7 kumos, 5 techmods and 3 dna colleges so they probably will last me a very long time.

@pt91 .... yeah maybe some day I will try out a SBS mod..... I don't have anything against them it's just that I have never used one (yet).....

I like using tube mods but the problem I encounter with them is that they roll around lots when placed onto their side LOL....... They also tip over lots ...... I have a tiny little sinuous P80 mod (80 watt) and I suppose it can be considered a box mod even though it is not exactly box shaped.... I use the small sinuous lots when I am out and about... I use my larger box mods while at home......

One of my tube mods is a rather strange little fella... It has no screen on it and only has a dial on it's base to adjust the wattage. The battery is not removable and must be charged from it's port.... It is the Twister 80 watt tube mod by Freemax...... It's built like a tank and is a good little knock around mod......... The bad thing with it though is that trying to adjust the wattage at night time is impossible unless you shine light at the base of the mod where the dial is..... Sort of reminds me of smoking off of a large stogie cigar :)

I'm glad to see that!. My 49 days old SM review Meson rta is still stuck in Auckland - i think it's trying to teach me how to have patience.

Mine took 4-5 weeks to ship. I hope it’s not a sign of how things will be in the future.
