I'm still grieving over my last usable jk mini fill port ring has completely seized like its predecessors. To answer the question yes the mr is thirstier than the mini but notice no difference between mr colors. Unfortunately both matte blacks seep at the 510 pin and honestly not too interested in remedying the situation. Silver and gunmetal have no issues thankfully. Still prefer the minis over the mrs though.
    How does it seize?

My only coloured is gold and it thankfully doesn't seep. I really really really really really really need a gunmetal MR. Purely to test my thirstiness theory.

I've about-faced. It's taken me this long, but I now prefer the MRs over the Minis. Purely due to the draw. They seem to have slightly smoother airflow? And it's also taken me this long to adjust to the restriction differences, I now love the airflow of both.

Well i had an interesting experience today. Let me preface by saying im cheap and dont like replacing things till i have to.

Anyway about mid day my topside single just quit. Im thinking ok its had a couple years use, time to pull out a backup.
For the heck of it i swapped the 21700 and it fired right up normally.

    Hmmmm

So the 40t died, like completely. My charger doesnt even recognize it. Now it does have a few years of use but has not dropped off. Went from like 1/2 charge in the mod to nada in a short time. And it was sitting where the fire button was not being pressed.

I should have probably replaced them already but, cheap lol.

Ive had batts not hold charge as long etc but never just boom nothing.

Guess i had venting etc in my head when a batt goes bad.
    Anyone had this happen?

I haven’t had it happen with a battery in use but have gotten a couple new ones that the charger didn’t recognize. My guess is that there’s a bad connection in it. I’d be curious to cut the wrap off and look underneath.

The gunmetal is really sharp looking. On the minis the ring around the fill port refuses to turn or go up/down.

Only with older batteries when I just kept 1 extra in rotation. Since I started keeping more in rotation zero issues.

I rotate through a large number and most of my battery stock seem to last 5 plus years. Not sure how many cycles per battery that would be. They get retired when they noticeably stop holding a charge.
Never had that experience with a suddenly/fully dead battery though.

Yeah when you have them in mod suddenly they drop their capacity with a huge jump gap from "full to half" or "half to empty" ... !
This happens with my Pulse V2 and Gaur-21. It's like the battery status doesn't register any use until like the last 1/3 of the battery, and then the indicator starts showing battery reduction. Probably my biggest complaint about VV's chip.

    Also...

In the early days I had two batteries just plain die. Kinda freaked me out so went to the vape shop; guy told me they might have been clones or my device wasn't reading battery strength correctly. This was before I discovered vaping forums.

Good morning. I’m still having a hard time waking up since the time change.
We've got a messy time zone system here. Not only are there three geographic zones from east to west (as you'd expect), but there are political factors too.

The decision to apply daylight saving is state-based, so in the summer months we have this ridiculous situation where two out of the 8 states/territories don't move their clocks, while the rest do.

So neighbours on the same longitudinal plane divided by state lines are an hour apart during the summer months in two out of the eight states/territories. In the cooler months those same neighbours are in the same time zone.

    good morning folks,

clock adjustment, I don't like it, I saw it as pointless when I was in working life, and I see it pointless outside of working life too.
When you look at the number of people who have to use sleeping pills, they should have thrown the 1 hour clock setting out the window.

Gadget wise, there's nothing coming my way at the moment, it's pretty boring when it comes to news though.

    That's just plain crazy!

    I agree - I don't like it either.
I guess the bean counters decided it kept people awake and out spending money longer. They extended it here a while back and there are some lobbying for even more.
