    Somewhere between here and there
I forgot to check the mail when I got home and was very surprised to find both of my Meson kits had arrived from SM.

    Hi!

So in the end I ended up abandoning the idea of buying a DNA mod, because the cost was ridiculous and I thought to my self "Do I really need this?" and the answer was no.

So I bought a thelema solo and a 21700 battery instead, and a mod only would have cost me twice.

So I am thinking of mounting my Brunhilde mtl on top of it, any ideas?

I've got some mtl fused clapton wire, both kanthal and nichrome, (30*30)40 and (26)32. Also have kanthal from 22g up to 32g, same for nichrome.

Any suggestion, for setup, want to go rather higher on pg, cause I don't like 50/50 that much.

    Thank you all!!!

I'll let Dan handle that RTA, as he's got 1 or 2 or 10.

But as for the wire - I've used the ni80 30*2/40 and love it. The kanthal may run cooler. 2.5mm id, 5 or 6 or 7 wraps - depending on what wattage you like and what insert you use and if it's for MTL or RDL. You love experimenting, so this will be perfect for you.

Heyz thanks, I hoped not to fiddle too much with that. I have mad this far sure that I don't have much love for 50/50 juice, and over 70vg/30 pg I don't go, cause the wicking is totally fine, but it limits the capacity you can fill up your tank, all above 50 percent seems to flood it.

So it seems to me that I should go lower on vg for mtl, and I am a little hesitated to use clapton because of the pg hit, I don't want it to hit too rough.

This time I am setting it up for someone else, so thats why I wouldnt want to put 2 much time on experimenting.

The high pg juice however is a totally unknown territory to me, in Oxva arbiter I learned that 70 pg seemed to be awsome, over that I didn't manage to go, because it quite easily floodee the coil, and I got the real spit up, not the one you get from underfiring a coil and is easily fixed with dialing up on the W, no matter how tight I wicked, also, If I'd want to go lower on pg the thinner the wire, the worse the wicking.

Thanks for the reply, it helps alot, and I will check out definitely my mtl claptons, I figured that these gauges would work magnificent, maybe I drop in a 50/50 for starters, maybe I learn to love that juice with claptons and appreciate it way more.

I start with 50/50 and thinner down with PG if required, I think it would be a very good start.

As Ange mentioned I do have a couple of Brunhilde MTL RTA's in rotation, I recently received number 8 so don't mind the things at all. And I was given a discount with my next purchase so number 9 could be on the cards, but that's another story for another day:w00t:
I primarily use 70vg/30pg juice in my Brunhilde's but also have used juice as low as 50/50 and everything in between and it wicks absolutely fantastic without any problems. I use ribbon wire now but was previously using 30×2/38 Ni80 baby clapton wire for a long time and found that to be great in Brunhilde. The clapton wire was always a very smooth vape with 70vg/30pg with whichever insert I tried in her, I use all of mine with no inserts now for a RDL vape. I have always vaped between 20-30 watts with mine, I mainly have my mods set at 23.2 watts.
I have found a 2.5mm coil is the best ID for Brunhilde and with the clapton wire I had 6 wraps for around 0.5 ohms.
So in a nutshell the Brunhilde MTL RTA will wick fantastic and he a very nice smooth vape with a small clapton build whatever insert you use and using any juice from 50vg/50pg to 70vg/30pg. I even tried 60vg/40pg on quite a few occasions with no issues!
I hope I've given you some handy info Mate and I hope it all makes sense because I'm only halfway through my coffee intake for the morning so that means I'm still bloody half asleep:lol: Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need any more info on these flavour bangers and I'll be more than happy to help:thumb:
