Postcode 7093 is up in Trøndelag, i.e., well on its way to the North Pole, and it was never delivered in Mandal to me, which is as far south as it is possible to get in Norway.
Now that I contacted them, and they have apparently tracked it down, they saw that it had to be declared to customs, one wins something and loses something!

The more I examine the Cabeo design the more I like it, though I still don't know about dialing in the airflow to my liking because only LuxuryVaping ships them here and don't supply the differen airflow pins. I also like the fact that it extends to a huge juice capacity.

Would like to pair it with a silver Dicodes Dani SBS 21700 for an all-day, pocketable beast-mode MTL.

This and an all-black Stubby would be ideal companions for longer trips.

I wish Steampipes would sign some distributors in the UK at least, like Dicodes and svoemesto do. Wonder why they're not doing so...

They cannot deliver to the UK due to the TPD rule of max 2ml.
Steampipes has no interest in making small capacity atty's, their smallest atty is the 5.5ml Cabeo.
And if you look at the website of Steampipes, it is in German with no translation into other languages, and most of the dealers are based in Germany.
Steampipes ships globally, my experience with them is that they don't play tricks with papers, and they ship to nations where there are easy and little import rules.

Kayfun's there are enough 2ml attys for a dealer to have a little extra selection of illegal attys in the UK, and can basically argue to the authorities that those with a larger capacity are for the foreign market.

Having inquired with suppliers, I don't think it's necessarily the TPD rule, though it may be. I think they're restricted from selling non-TPD atomizers in the UK but are free to ship to other countries. I know for a fact that one has reached out to Steampipes and were in talks, though nothing happened.

I didn't even bother posting here about the possibility of US distributors, as I have contacted Steampipes directly and they told me straight up that they will not ship anything here, so no plans for US distribution.

My only chance to make sure my airflow is to my liking is to ask LuxuryVaping to carry MTL airflow screws that I can test out. They're out of stock of units, though...

    • restrict e-cigarette tanks to a capacity of no more than 2ml

    Example:
Please note this version is not available for purchase within the UK but we do have the UK TPD version available here.

I don't understand, though I'm trying. Is there specific legislation for non-EU nations that restricts German companies from trading their 5ml and 7ml tanks with non-EU nations?

Yes, it’s got a nice weight to it but not so heavy that it’s uncomfortable to hold.
I believe they're made out of Zinc-alloy, yeah?. Should be a bit more weighty than the aluminum-alloys we've been seeing a lot of lately.

Yes, the specs say Zinc alloy and ABS. It is weighty. They don’t list the weight but I’ll try to remember to weigh it on my scale before I post my review. I’m slowly working on it.

UK has rules that state that the maximum capacity of an electric cig is 2ml.
Anything over 2ml is not legal to sell in UK.

I think you asked why no UK dealers sell Steampipes, and the reason is that Steampipes don't have attys that are legal to sell in the UK.

Steampipes are German, the whole chain system is based on German shops, where shops outside Germany are limited.

It's not just Steampipes that don't ship to the UK, Flash-e-Vapor doesn't ship either.

Three parcels on the way - most in ages:
The first to arrive should be the Micron 40W soldering station from WA, then the 4 x Clickfet V1 mosfets from ModMaker UK, then the white delrin Stratum Balance clone from 3F.
Exciting times mate, I can't wait to hear how the projects go.

    Thanks - I'm excited too.

It's interesting - I opened up one of my Asmodus Pumpers to have a look at the mosfet circuit and was surprised to see a much bigger board than the tiny Clickfet from Modmaker. As far as I know they have much the same functionality, except the Asmodus mosfet doesn't allow any firing if you reverse the battery polarity. The Clickfet goes into auto-fire but has a time-out and won't burn out the chip.
Maybe that's part of the reason for the size difference or maybe it's just older tech and less miniaturised.

And a heads up to Pumper owners. Mine had a build up of dried juice residue under and around the 510 assembly. I went through at least 10 cotton buds cleaning it up. I'm not a messy squonker so it kind of surprised me.

If you want your Pumpers (or any squonk mod) to last it would be a good idea to remove a couple of screws and get the isopropanol and Q tips out.
