Same, seems a bit suspicious. I'm assuming some people have access to retail shops where they can buy them at cost and then sell them at market price via forums.
I'm guessing some are taking advantage of bans and closing shops by buying discounted products. Also we've had a lot of migrations from other forums.
I noticed a lot of people I've never seen in the forums before responding to giveaways recently. Most of them have veteran tags, though.
It is kinda weird, maybe, maybe not.
Same seller has been listing many items that seem to have been used once (very low puffs) or not at all. He/she has been listing all the same gear over on VU as well. Also has a 100% rating in the VU classifieds. So I don't think anything funny is going on.
Acquiring mass produced Chinese manufactured gear at cost, maybe.
With the high-end gear there is no way he's buying those at cost. Zero chance. Like this listing for example:

I'm fairly certain that mod was a Facebook group purchase. Like here, every high-end mod he/she has sold on VU has had either 28-30 puffs or was brand new. In a different listing for someone else, he/she mentioned being active in the Facebook B/S/T groups.
I have seen someone else who is always listing a ton of vape gear in the F.T.B BST group. His most current listing from 26 June has 49 items listed. Most of it is high-end gear. The guy is out of NYC and seems to have a decent reputation on FB.
So, who knows???

FWIW, ECF and VU have been seeing near identical numbers of new users signing up.
Last week we had 23 new users / VU had 21.
It's been that way for as long as there have been giveaways. Many join ECF and are never active in the forums. But you do see some of those showing up in the various giveaways.
Have a look at the Leaderboards XP page. That page displays all members who have logged into ECF over a one week, or a one month, period. The history displays the current week/month and it also goes back 4 weeks and 4 months. XP counters are reset to zero at the end of each week/month.
The majority of members who show up there rarely, if ever, post on ECF. Like the other vape forums we do have many members who are mainly lurkers.
