    Morning shinies ;)

Meet uwell's Crown X. Usually there's a drop off in flavour compared to the Caliburn series, but they've got it spot on this time - the flavour is superb. Plenty of airflow too in the RDL range. I like the huge tank size. I'd prefer a larger battery, especially for its size and max 60watts. However at 20-25 watts I'm actually getting plenty of time out of its 1500mah. It feels to me more like 2000mah, so the chip they're using is pretty damn efficient.

Brilliant photo - the way you've organised the colours and tones of the background to match/highlight the mod. Bet that took a while to setup.

That was a plonk and click in the right place with the right light. Thankfully he didn't sprout his limbs and run away.

    Good evening Shinies:)

This Melo III isn't half bad. Bland custard starts to taste like something around 30w.

Got to do another build in the Brunhilde later. Swapped out the airflow screw last night and managed to trash the coil in the process (due to my carelessness).

I FINALLY got some good news from Hellvape regarding replacing the three DR Pros. After much much back n forth with customer service they are going to replace the RDAs and don’t want the crappy ones returned to them.

I did use my membership here as an advantage to let thousands of forum members know what was happening with them and also the number of their products I own. And thatve I’ve been a vocal fan of their hardware on this forum as well.

So after much cajoling I received an email with a tracking number for the replacement Pros.

Hopefully these will be in tolerance with the o rings used on these particular attys.

As soon as I get them I’ll let you all know what was sent to me.

So perseverance sometimes pays off. Fingers crossed anyways.

    Stunning pic Ange.
I've been curious about Uwell pods for some time now.
Just bought me the Crown D. You have any experience of it?
Vapo has it on special for $10

I forgot to tell you that I told my Hellvape rep how customer service wouldn’t help you and she said she would get it handled. Hopefully that helped you some.

oh if true then I really really appreciate it! It wa s quite a turnaround from them refusing to replace them to asking for my address. Not too sure what to do with the 3 I have since they’re a mess to work with.

    Thanks for your help!

That's one I haven't tried. I'm always using creamy fruits in my Uwells and usually their Caliburn g coils have won on flavour over the Crown coils, until now with the X. So I'll be interested to see how they go for you with tobaccos. I do prefer the Crown range for the extra airflow and battery capacity.

Yesterday Dejan Aleksandrovic, designer/owner Limelight Mechanics, released info and photos for their new SbS mod via the FB group.

    Details......

    Battery: 18650
Chip: Evolv DNA60 or Dicodes BF60 (DNA60 version includes USB dongle)
    Max diameter: 24mm
    510 drop/recess: 32mm
    Fire button: front
    Weight: 120g

Optional: 22mm to 24mm beauty ring

Chip installation is modular, meaning, one could swap a DNA60 for a BF60.

I think it's easily, by far, the nicest looking SbS mod out there (to date).

    IMG_3756.JPG

Basic version. Very clean minimalist design........ huge plus.

    IMG_3753.JPG

Optional Good Wood body/sleeve (held in place by magnets). Ooooooh, very nice.

    IMG_3755.JPG

    IMG_3754.JPG

Smaller optional Good Wood insert (held in place w/magnets).

The tank shown on the SbS is Limelight's Arch Tank (24mm), it accommodates any AIO/Boro RBA.

IMO, their mod is the most well thought out SbS design of any (to date).

Per Dejan they will be available as soon as today for members of the Limelight FB Group first. At some point they will appear in Limelight's online shop.
