LOL. 90% of my building tools, tweezers, brushes etc ended up in my garage in my mosaic area. All but the many scissors. Some of those ended up in the bathroom for eyebrows and hair and such. I had been tossing little blue screwdrivers for years when they arrived as I had upgraded to better mini screwdrivers. Those ended up in my kitchen junk drawer. I was happy to see it all go. Small trunk included. I did save most of the RDTA's and would happily gift them to anyone who wanted themMorning shinies
I went crazy on buying metal pry tools and spudgers recently. Now I'm just waiting on a repurposed pretty case for them all to turn up.

The vaping community and willingness to help others out, has been very rewarding for me. Not only here.

Was it beetles that killed it? The bark beetles that took down so many in the eastern sierras have moved east and are taking down pines here in Georgia.Good morning shiny people. I’ve got one more review to work on but doubt I’ll finish today.
We have a large spruce tree in the backyard that we are going to cut down today. It started to die last year and I went to the nursery to get advice and tried doing a deep root feeding but it didn’t come back. I probably should have taken it down last fall but was too sad about cutting it down. It has just a few branches with green on it and the rest are dead. It’s probably about 20-25 feet tall and I’m sad to lose it.

I planted that tree myself about 20 years ago. We didn’t have much money to spend on landscaping so bought it as a two foot runt on a sale. It had been healthy the entire time until last year. I sprayed it every year for insects. I read that sometimes older trees can strangle their own roots. I wonder if that’s what happened. What’s weird is there are a handful of branches alive on the bottom but above everything is dry and dead. I could snap a branch with two fingers. Was it beetles that killed it? I have a corner lot and long before I moved in the owner planted cedars along the property line on the two sides facing our neighbors. Apparently he was an antisocial jerk. On one side the fence got moved a few feet onto our property leaving the cedars on the wrong side, the neighbor on that side cut them down before I moved in. Then the neighbor on the other side asked me to cut down the ones on his property line. Every year they dropped needles on his lawn so nothing would grow along that edge. We were friends so I cut them down. They were along the south side so that gave me a lot more sun anyway.Good Morning everyone.
I've been there myself, Hittman. When we moved to the place we're at, 28 years ago, all across the front of the property was a line of thriving Pine trees about 20ft in height. Within a year, one by one they were dying. It took about 3 years for them to all be brown. It was so upsetting, I hadn't the will the fire up the chainsaw. Eventually I cut them all down. Pine Beetles took them all out. Three large Ponderosa Pine also succomb the the beetles. We lost a total of 17 trees, including the one I planted when my dad passed away.
research bark beetles. If you see woodpeckers working on the tree that is why. The peckers know which tree contains beetles. Science says they are decimating forests nationwide and climate change and drought are the causeI planted that tree myself about 20 years ago.
