    Somewhere between here and there
I’m in disposable purgatory right now. lost vape sent two gift boxes of disposables for review a couple weeks ago. I’m hoping to get one review posted tonight and get going on the second. I also recently got the innokin trine pod for review. It’s a really cool design.

Which Minikin are you referring to? Are they all pods now? I’m sticking with true atomizers.

I use pods for work. That way I don't have to worry about leakage or breaking the glass on a tank. I tried disposables for work, but I kept using them all the time, so I had to quit that.

I need some Shiny help- I’ve been wicking use rayon the same way pretty much for the last 5 years with fantastic results.

However, lately I’m finding that the center of the RBA wick that passes through the coil “burns out”. It totally breaks in half. Not great mothfeel at all Yuk!

So what am I doing wrong? Too much wicking? Not enough wicking? Wattage too high?

I’m a bit stumped at the moment as to what’s causing this. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I’d really appreciate them. I feel like a newbie again lol!!

I’m hoping it’s just a plain old wicking mistake that can be easily solved.

So again my Shiny friends can anyone offer suggestions or advice?
From my long experience with rayon that has only happened when the wick is not thick enough and sometimes when pulling it through the coil pulls it apart a little. I am careful about the wick being long strands and no partial lengths to it. I find using a very thick, uniform wick is best. I pretty much need it to start pulling my coil to the side sort of tightness. Certainly squeaky tight. Hope that helps.

If I was working I’d probably use pods too!!

Thanks to everyone who sent prayers or healing vibes to my brother. He passed away this afternoon in his home with his family gathered around him. The hospice team was great and kept him very comfortable.

    I just still can’t believe he’s gone.

I'm sorry Sarah. I'm glad though that he went out as he wanted to. The amazing people who provide hospice care, especially at home are worth their weight in gold.

    Good evening Shinies.

    I'm sorry for your loss.

Maybe this poem could offer you some small amount of comfort.

    Do not stand
    By my grave, and weep.
    I am not there,
    I do not sleep—
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
    Do not stand
    By my grave, and cry—
    I am not there,
    I did not die.

I'm so sorry, Sara. I'm glad he could die at home.

Ten years later, I still can't believe my sister is gone.
