Howdy! How was ur weekend? Any fun vape moments?
Hello! Sorry for the delay, my dog is a spaz.

I enjoyed hearing about your new vape purchases. Nice stuff, and that little mod looks convenient.

The weekend was good, thanks. Been dripping the last of my fruit e-liquids while I wait for more to arrive (should be here tomorrow).

I enjoyed the variety, and it was nice to use the Berserker rda again. I was surprised that it can do a nice RDL up to ~2.8mm AF with some careful adjustments of the cap. I figured I might have to take a drill to it to open it up that much.

    Morning shinies ;)

Those who use ultrasonic cleaners, do you use anything apart from water/detergent? I've got one incoming and lots and lots and lots of attys I want to dunk.
Warm water, drop of dawn. I remove all the orings and rinse with hot water; all other parts get rinsed with 2 parts warm water, 1 part alcohol. I just let them all air dry. I've been trying to talk myself into a good deep clean and replace all orings. So far I'm having zero success in that department.

What are your feelings about replacing o-rings? I only do it if they are clearly damaged in some way, since I have limited supplies of most of them.

For me even if I don't see any damage, if I feel like there's any unexplained leaking or the vape doesn't feel right in an atty I'll replace the O rings. Happens very rarely though.

Interesting article about safety testing for vapes. Easy to see how it could be misused though.

Thanks Mick, that is very interesting. One of the reasons I've moved on to lightly flavoured or un-flavoured juice is a creeping doubt about possible side effects of vaporising flavours. The main reason though is I've grown to dislike the smell of most flavoured juices. It's a personal thing for me (unscientific) and I'm not suggesting others do the same.

That’s Exactly what I use and I let soak overnight then rinse. Nothing more complicated then that.

When I received an item for review then I use it daily and write my reviews a little at a time in MS Word. When I have a bunch of pods then it gets pretty boring and does take the fun out of vaping while my favorites sit unused. It was better when more mods and tanks were up for review. At one point it was almost like a full time job when I still reviewed for geekvape, Vaporesso, Dovpo, Sourcemore, innokin, Hellvape, Lost Vape, and a few others. I had times where I was sitting on 7-10 reviews at a time. Those days are gone. I will still do one occasionally here and there for now but may quit completely at some point. I do miss reviewing for Vaporesso though. They were great to review for but the reps stopped responding and don’t even post on ECF any more.
I wonder why Vaporesso disappeared. I was sent the information from them to be a reviewer many years ago but when I saw the forms and the expected time frame it felt like too much pressure. I had stopped working due to health issues and had other stresses. The last thing I needed at the time was one more stressor so I passed.
Too much work for something I wanted to keep enjoyable plus I started vaping to quit smoking which I started up BECAUSE of stress lol!

Why do most of the pod devices have that elongated mouthpiece?
I’m thinking of actually buying a refillable pod for the few times I leave my house and don’t want to chance scratching up one of my mods.

But those elongated mouthpieces are a turnoff to me at least initially. Are there any decent pods that have round mouthpieces or should I just get over it and give it a try?
I don’t want to spend much money on this since the whole idea is that I don’t care if I bang it around.

I usually just change them out if needed, especially if they come out too easily or frayed looking.

I think the only time I’ve changed an o ring was when I broke one. Other than that - if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it lol!
Or as some say - KISS- keep it simple stupid lol! It’s perfect for me.
    I'm with you, Sara.
