I'm the right age group but it means nothing to me. Can someone give a clue?
I might not have it correct, but I take it as

Very nice haul Mate, Enjoy :thumb:
Thanks Daniel. It'll be good to try dual coils, squonking, and have some proper RDL gear (other than the Brunhilde).

    Ooh, nice!
I like that airflow ring on the Aromamizer - mine has the removable rubber one.
Thank you gloop, if feels surprisingly nice too (I was worried it would be loose).

The tiny deck on the old Aromamizers looks like it could provide some very nice flavor. Looking forward to trying it.

I really only used mine for a brief spell a while back, but I believe it did produce good flavor and was easy to build and wick - at least with a "normal" build.
The last time that I was using it I was trying out vertical coils as that is the set up that Session Drummer uses to do his flavor testing, but I was having trouble getting my attempt dialed in and so had set it aside for a while.
That might be an activity for this weekend - have another go at it!

Better with vertical coils imo. Easier to install too imo.

If you give it another go, I'd be curious to know how you like it.

I've got a couple of his tutorials for vertical coils on ELR bookmarked so I can give it a shot eventually. Edit: This is the best one I found. Maybe it would be useful to you as well. I guess I can't link to it: https://forum.e-liquid-recipesDOTcom/t/basic-coil-build-for-steam-crave-rdta-v-2/139429

    Nice variety there!

    Thanks!

I would have thought it would be a lot harder to avoid dry hits with 1 less wick tail, but it sounds like it's well worth the effort then (to learn, I mean).

    Will do!
I must have thought that I'd be back at it sooner as I had left a bit of liquid (commercial) in it when I set it aside - yuck!
I had to trash the coils and just gave it a good bath.
