I never really got into the pico mods despite the popularity. Geekvape still makes the solo style mods so I guess you could get more of those. My longest lasting mods with daily use that are repairable are dna mods. I’ve been using the same Thelema dna 100 every day for years. You could pick any dna mod and be able to get displays and boards for them if that’s what you’re after. Honestly, I’ve had very few mods actually die on me.

I just looked through my inventory file for mods that died. My first mod was a Sigelei 20 which shorted out and started smoking. It did it even with no tank. Two Sigelei 30's where the screen intermittently stayed on dim setting after I took a hit and ran batteries down to 2V overnight if I didn't notice. An EHPRO Armor Prime which autofired. So three Sigs and an Armor Prime, plus the fading screens on Picos and a Colossal.

Not bad for 10 years.

Think I might look into getting a couple of DNA mods. I only use two Picos at a time so that would fill the hole. Not sure about Solos, they were the best when I got them but Geekvape's rep has gone downhill recently.

Any recommendations for DNA mods?

There's also the best mod in the world the dotmod dotBox 100. It has TC, brilliant chip, ip67 rating and it's freaking tiny, Even though it's 21700 is smaller than most of my 18650s.

That's quite tempting. Not too expensive and they have a nice red color option.

I have been using my Thelema dna 100 every day since I got it. I’m not sure if they can still be found. I like it because it’s 21700 but not real bulky. I really liked the Dovpo Riva Dna250c but it’s fatter since it uses dual 18650. I really like the Dna100c so would recommend anything with it. Somewhere I have a Hyperion with that chip. It’s more bulky. It’s kind of like an aegis on steroids. I have several other dual battery dna mods but really don’t find myself using them much.

Jeesh I wish some manufacturers would make some new squonkers or at least release older models. Everyone is out of stock for the most part. I guess they’re all busy making colorful disposables now.

I really liked the Dovpo Riva Dna250c but it’s fatter since it uses dual 18650.

I have two of these, bought from a shiny member and I LOVE them. They remind me so much of my fav Minikin. I am slowly moving away from mods and into disposables but I still always have one of these at my desk set to 60 watts for when I really want to blow my hair back. lol

@AngeNZ , well it took a long time to run but I was able to get a complete recovery on the crashed hard drive that I mentioned before using EaseUs recovery software. The license only cost $69 and worked much better than disk drill. I’m super happy with the final result.

Absolutely brilliant. Your crash reminded me to setup more regular backups of my drives too.
