I just looked through my inventory file for mods that died. My first mod was a Sigelei 20 which shorted out and started smoking. It did it even with no tank. Two Sigelei 30's where the screen intermittently stayed on dim setting after I took a hit and ran batteries down to 2V overnight if I didn't notice. An EHPRO Armor Prime which autofired. So three Sigs and an Armor Prime, plus the fading screens on Picos and a Colossal.

Not bad for 10 years.

Think I might look into getting a couple of dna mods. I only use two Picos at a time so that would fill the hole. Not sure about Solos, they were the best when I got them but Geekvape's rep has gone downhill recently.

Any recommendations for DNA mods?
You know I wish I had done that. But I actually didn’t have any of my regular mods die on me. It was the squonkers but I figure that may be from juice getting into the electronics but other that I’ve been vaping for awhile and really no problems. I do take exceptional care of my mods though. Maybe a bit ocd with them lol!

I take that back- my very 1st pen type mod an Eleaf something or other started auto firing as I just happened to be in the room where it was sitting. Scared the crap out of me and I chucked it off the deck into the yard lol! It was VERY scary especially for a noobie. But I make sure all my mods are shut off if I’m not using them now.

I finally built it! I bought a Steam Crave Aromamizer Supreme V3 about 9 months ago but it’s been sitting in its box. I was having flashbacks to when I 1st started building a month after I started vaping. I bought a Supreme V2 and had disastrous results with the wicking and eliquid pouring out the afc holes lol! Obviously I wasn’t experienced enough to take it on. Eventually I was experienced enough to get the wicking, jfc, afc and turning the RTA upside down a few times. But occasionally it would still leak so I put it away.

Now a lot of years later I bought the Aromamizer Supreme V3 but kept putting it off. But I did it. Yesterday I had success with the V3 ! Not a drop has leaked even overnight when I forgot to close off the juice control and afc rings. Not a drop.

The machining is fantastic as usual with Steam Crave and are such great quality RBAs.

And I’m glad to say the flavor is spot on although I still like RDAs better. Talk about some serious clouds as well! I’m embarrassed to say but I’m pretty proud of myself as a vaper who builds not just easier RBAs but the trickier ones too.

I used the single coil deck that came with the basic kit. I already have a postless and dual decks that I bought for the V2 so I’ll try those out later. It comes with a bubble tank but it’s weird looking. There is a mesh deck available but I’ll be sticking with coils. I’m looking forward to building the dual coil deck.

I’d love to buy another one but can’t find one in stock anywhere. Might have to try the classifieds.

Although I’m not quite sure what the 7mm chimney is for. A 5mm comes preinstalled. Any one know? I got on their website and it mentions it comes with two chimneys but not what difference they make.

Good morning shiny people. We’re getting a blizzard this weekend. We got freezing rain yesterday and looking for 8-12 inches of snow.
Oh no! I hope it’s not coming this way! Keep the snow away lol!

Oh and good luck :w00t: !

Just went out and cleared the driveway and would say there was probably 4-5 inches so far. Thank goodness for snowblowers.

    Morning shinies ;)

Since LPV have 25% off with code TCHIN I ordered a Parsons SBS.
I have been eyeing those but don’t know that I would use it enough to make the price worthwhile. I don’t have any of my sbs mods in rotation.

I've been wondering if they went out of business. Their store is also disabled, and I got no response when I emailed them re: buying accessories.

If you don't mind used, there's one on VU for $50 + shipping.

FWIW I get the impression the 7mm chimney is if you want a sort of airier, less condensed draw (because the bubble tank doesn't seem to require the other chimney).

I’m glad i didn’t know that because as I was going through my never ending stash , I found I had previously bought a SS Supreme V3 Advance Kit. Very typical of me. I have no idea how much gear I have and what’s in it.

Fortunately the Stash is getting smaller - thank you god!!

Thanks for that chimney information. That makes sense but I’m glad the 5mm came installed already. The shorter chimney should give better flavor. That’s why RDAs are usually small and condensed. Trapping those flavor molecules in the barrel. I guess that makes some sense.
