People were talking here a little while ago about Solo's going wonky. Constantly resetting the resistance after you go outside into a different temp environment. I tried the suggested fix which was to do a deep clean on the mod. It seemed to work for a while but not for long. I gave up and converted the mod to power mode. So far it's working fine.
That was the last mod I used in TC. Wife has 6 Solos in TC. No problems with those so far, but she only vapes inside where it's always 72.

Made a rare visit to a brick & mortar vape shop this morning. It's the one where i got my 1st real device (if you consider a SMOK Nord a real device). New sign, new name, so i guessed new owner. i happened to be driving past it & was curious.
It was gratifying to see that they still had about 1/2 the store devoted to the kind of vaping we here do, w/ a wall full of nic e-liquids & coils + a long row of display cases w/ mods, tanks, & pod kits. Nothing for builders, mixers, & folks like many of us but, still, a selection of actual mods & other items for nic vapers.
Still cannabis-related products in the other roughly 1/2 the store but they hadn't taken over. It was nice to see. i got an overpriced pack of drop-in coils that i can use but don't need, just to support the place.
(Not exactly a shinyitis story but it was a positive purchasing experience i wanted to share.)
