I was like that until my Daisy entered into my life. Now I have 2 pairs of boots and 4 pairs of tennis shoes lol. Those will likely last me until death. My feet prefer variety, always been that way. I do already have a lifetime of comfortable sandals collected. Love Skechers sales! I literally will only need to replace slippers from now on.
I have difficult feet. If I were rich and decadent, I would get custom-made shoes.

    Morning shinies

My biggest footwear splurge was to combine my work boots and gumboots into one

    Good afternoon shinies,
I've been reading a bit on Steampioes FB group, lots of history.
Although this is a high end company, the standard atty prices were not extreme, around 120-170€, the atty parts and build quality are of excellent quality.

They made some in limited editions, in titanium, and ss laser, Maui, Umbrella, Nightflight, Dashed, skull etc., and none of them were large production.

There was someone who posted pictures of some he had and I understood that there was a lot I didn't know, a Corona Azzuro, titanium atty with a bluish umbrella pattern, 7 of it were produced.
The rarest he also had was Cabeo Moonshine, made in 5 copies. Originally, all 5 were sold to a Spanish luxury store, Swen had gotten a hold of one afterwards.

I think the prices of them nowadays went for 1000€ on the second hand market.

have otherwise spent the evening organizing Steampipes, kayfun, Centenary and KHW parts, need to buy a new Raaco section.

And I saw good deals at ModMaker, maybe I'll buy 510 connectors in bulk, so I can make an atty rack. I think I'll go for it, I don't need anything other than the one with the 510 threads lol, I'll take the squonk part away. If I get to the forest and find some oak of the right size, I should at least use wood material from my own forest.
